I love the idea of turning the top on NYC into micro farms, I am working on my own smaller project in the area as well. But almost never do we hear anyone talk about the benefits to the body locally grown food can bring. When the food you eat grows in the same pollution we breath, does it not work a bit like an immunization shot, the way local honey makes us less allergic to the local pollen?
this is great! i sure hope more countries/areas adopt this wonderful idea / it is used in Japan and very successful / keep the idea going and growing!!!
