And trust me, when there was no internet, no one missed it. It was a world where people actually left the house and made human connections. They read books and enjoyed stories. They weren't constantly "connected" to one another. Sometimes they were actually, *gasp*, alone to have thoughts independent of the herd.

As I recall, there was a definite problem "developing" with the undeniable largeness of Ms. Frye's breasts, so much so that she had to eventually have a breast reduction, unfortunately. It became all too apparent by the end of the first season. The show reached an almost cult status in re-runs. Many thought it would run forever and have a cast change every couple of seasons.
