If you haven't installed RD yet create Program Files (x86) in root dir.  Install RD there then Stacks. I didn't have to do any of this cause (x86) is 32 bit folder and you bypass 64 bit admin locks(keeps stacks from saving there)...errr I think that is how it goes....well it works for me!

for some reason it did not work out for me...I exit it..the problem began...i did the full control and the program worked...then I exit out of it again and started it and the problem came back..any help...btw I only have 1 user named OWNER

@Joelthelobo Try taking ownership of the folder. In the security tab, instead of clicking "Edit...", click on "Advanced". Go to the "Owner" tab, click "Edit...", select your user name, click "OK" twice to get back to the security tab, check to make sure your user account has full control, click "OK" to close the properties. That ought to make sure you don't have any more problems.

@AinsleyRocks3 I think it is because rocket dock doesn't currently support 64 bit operating systems of windows. Eventually it will and I think that will solve the problem :D

It works, however I still have a problem with it; I try to make a Stack with Office (access, word, etc.), however the icons won't show up, the same for the x64 software, CCleaner and Defraggler. I don't have any problem with the programs located in the x86 folder. Do you know why is this happening or how to fix it??

Advice doesn't work.. unloaded and reloaded the Rocket Dock and still comes back up as a blank... also when I do set up the folder I want when I click on the icon I get a message saying that the path can not be found. I'm on Windows 7... don't you think it's about time to update RocketDock and the Dockets to work properly with this operating system considering that Windows 8 is just around the corner?? Seems like a smart thing to do!

I Did all of this steps but when i restart the computer rocketdock doesn't start, so I click on the program and it doesn't starts... After a few minutes it appears a very very little black square and it says that rocket dock had trouble loading the icons so it asks to open it with default icons... If you're here because it doesn't save your info when exiting.

1) Right click on the RocketDock folder in your C:\Program Files\ and hit Properties.

2) In the security tab, hit Edit, then click on your name "Users(your name) (If you don't see it, watch 5:37-6:14).

4) Check the box "Full Control", and click OK to all.

There, saved you 8 minutes. I'm off to shoot myself now.
