  • Or rather crank position sensor. To the right of the crank pulley

  • To come back to this. It was also my crank angle sensor!

  • I had the same problem on my 92 1.6. It's the crank angle sensor.

  • Where was this exactly im having the same problem.

  • In my case it was a bad ground on the passenger side of the valve cover. It was not even finger tight

  • @wademunkey

Thanks buddy, I have the same trouble on my NB, tried coil packs, leads, plugs, MAF, about to try a fuel filter, I will have to check the grounds, Do you know where I can find all the ground placements?

  • hi, I am curious if you solved this? I had a similar issue on my 99 AE. I was able to get around the problem by advancing the timing by a few degrees but I didn't figure out the cause. Any further info would be appreciated.
