Like the sound.., I did a stage 1 on my 2005 , S&S pipes, I also changed the aircleaner cover, I think that one looks too big.Mine was the last year before they went to the 6 speed tranny.Having the extra gear would be good on long rides.
Im thinking about those pipes on my 07. You need to get some video rollin down the road. You said you used V&H power pack? What air intake did you use?
Like the tank gas and gas guages. She sound very very nice. Is there any performance you feel other than the noise? I will purchase a set of street sweepers or your type for my 2006. I just need the top specifications on aftermarket exhaust. It is obvious the refinements to the 88 will keep our M/C's as collectors and sought after. One of a kind friend from the factory for us. Thanks
V&H pipes are part # 17919. Requires appropriate intake system. I opted for much larger injectors and also V&H Fuelpak. In order to do it right, you must address intake, exhaust, and Fuel Management. Otherwise, you just get a lot of noise. Setup made a huge difference. Original Dyno netted approx 62hp. After mods and some tweaking the Fuelpak, Dyno registered 82.6hp. Performance imprvmnts were very dramatic. (Fuel delivery....very important)
I have copied what you did. I shall make the improvements. After all we have our 96 inch bro's to play with... Any way I was on a 99 low rider until this came I knew somethin was up. So I know what we have. Daytona Beach FL. Thanks man!
By "a lot of noise" would you say that would mean it sounds loud and obnoxious or just plain bad?One day when i purchase my first bike a bike that hopefully is not unlike yours, i want it to be so loud that when i pass by people will think, "That guy is a asshole." what would be a good set up for that purpose? Thank you. (P.S. Your bike is very nice)

you shouldve put the camera closer to the exhaust for a couple of seconds and revved it. What pipes are those?
