He was right about the Iraq war from the start, advocates without equivocation for universal health care, and recognizes the relationship between global warming and current trade policies.

Because he is awesome on almost every policy position in terms of domestic and foreign policy and wants the Iraq War to end immediately and was wise enough to understand the stupidity of it in the first place.

ok, i was a little iffy on Obama, but i'm convinced. Here's how: his style. He has a oratory style befitting a leader. Look at how bush gives a speech, 3 second intervals of looking at a paper and looking at the audience with long pauses and waits for applause. Obama is Kennedy-esque in his eloquence and fluidity.

This guy is the man. Even if people are projecting our hopes on him, at least that we are projecting hope in the hope that he will lead this nation to a better future. There is no hope with our current president. Where can I sign up to volunteer for his campaign?

Most politicians are afraid of questions. You watch interviews with him and he answers tough questions without dodging them. That's a huge difference between him and other people running for various offices.
