aww dude come on, don't be hatin'! I always mean well. This isn't about Christianity, and I shouldn't have brought it up. I guess the things I see in all faiths (Wicca, Hinduism, Daoism, Druidism, Buddhism, Christianity, Satanism, ect) only ask for a donation. Scientology demands money, and that pisses ME off :)There shouldn't be a price tag on someone's soul.

I believe another reason they wormed their way to became a religion was to keep the FDA off them, saying that testing their methods would be an infringement of faith, or some BS like that.

Scientology actually was convicted of something like practicing medicine without a license a few decades ago and had to pay a fine and put a warning on their e-meters. Now they no longer advertise openly about having a cure for diseases, but once you get sucked in, it is revealed to you personally that this is the case. For the FDA to do something they would probably need to conduct an expensive undercover sting, or get many complaints from former members who are willing to testify.

Good point- denying people proper medical care when they need it and selling false remedies in the name of "religion" needs to be a high crime with a mandatory prison sentence.
