II disappointed me immensely, and III was, as expected, predictable. I'm glad he managed to pull III off despite the handicap of no-surprise. However, it seemed almost as though he tried too hard sometimes. IV was definitely my favorite, though.

@Nabo00o Personally I enjoyed the story. Don't get me wrong, its nothing compared to the original trilogy. But then again, Diehard doesn't have as good of a story as Star Wars but I still like it. And as for the effects I don't think they went NEARLY as over board with them as a lot of other movies nowadays are doing. Compared to several recent flicks, the new trilogy is practically skimpy with effects. I don't think they are as good as the original, but neither do they suck outright.

Had some scenes imo that were either uneeded or just dragged on for far too long (ex: the podrace and anakin fighting in space). I thought 3 was fucking great though, it had just the right balance of dialougue scenes, humor, and fight scenes. the other two just didn't seem to have that balance.
