OK here is why this is. People hated Jackson when he was alive because he was a sick human being, But hes dead now so in turn people dont want to sound like callas bastards and speak ill of the dead. The way it looks is you are fairly young so you will notice this more when someone in school dies people who hated them are suddenly their best friend this falls into the pitty me factor its for the most part basic human behavior, His fan base just shot up by the millions its just the way it works.
