@ankkassa change the hop-up, and try using heavier bbs for better accuracy, such as .28g or .3g bbs. they make the fps less, but they are a shit ton more accurate. hope it helped.

@OutdoorsAndSuch snipers are over hyped and often get mauled in an airsoft battle. sniping takes skill, so remember this rhyme...try it before you buy it. find someone that already has one and ask them to borrow it and try it out. but imo, aegs are TONS of fun.

ok kid im not trying to be mean just givin you some friendly advice. for one, u mentioned you wer new to airsofting, if you are i never suggest noobs to snipers. train yourself with a spring walmart gun. then move on to an AEG then after doing a shit load of researching do i suggest being a sniper. it isnt anything like thos mw2 tards think it is. but overall for a beginner you are good. specially for sniping

@JIPPIX94 when i said as young as possible, i meant an age when the child is mature enough to handle a firearm. an infant will never be mature enough to handle a firearm, and therefore, an infant should never be given a firearm. if a parent told the kid to fire at a target, the parent will make sure its a large target with a large backstop so there will not be any collateral damage if he misses. remember, kids are smart. no matter what a parent does, they will find a way to get to the gun.

You adjust the hop up of the gun on most good guns and it changes how the bb flys. everybody has there own setting for there own shooting style.

It's actually ' hop up ' what it does : When your bb shoots through your barrel there is a tinny rubber piece that makes the bb spin which makes it go up. I usually put the hop up all the way down ( no hop up ) so your bb pretty much goes straight. But for long shots, I guess you could put it a bit higher. But yeah.

its called hop up and what it does is adjust weather the bullet needs to be fired more up or down so lets say the bullet curves down, you adjust the hop up so that the bullet fires straight

videogamestuntmen, well they are dangerous, if you want to convince your mom to let you use them then set rules or something. for instance one good rule is to get a gun case ($100) or a trigger lock ($5) and give the keys to your mom so that she has control when and how you use it. giving control to your parents willingly shows them that you are mature enough to respect the gun and make it less dangerous.

the only problem with that is that i think that they dont make trigger locks for airsoft guns because the bolt does not go back all the way for the metal lock to go through.

i have this gun, it is amazing. i use .3 gram BBs. Amazingly accurate. great buy. bolt is easy to pull. if it feels too hard to pull for you just loosen the screw on the back of the bolt. 5/5 for this gun.

Yes, you can accurately hit things over 200 feet if you have the right bb's.

I suggest atleast .25 to .30g bb's for dominate accuracy. Don't use .20g, they will break and jam the gun.

The Well L96 but if you want mod and upgrade it later then get the UTG L96. Get the EDGI kit and your gun will be beastly. :)

I have a JG BAR 10 and i absoultely love it. Its a good long range rifle. It has a price tag of around $100 and is easily upgradeable. And i will highly recoment the CYMA M14 it has a range of close to 200 feet and is semi/fully automatic. this comes to around $120.
