I remember this Christmas special, I recorded it on VHS so that says something about how old it is... Oh and I think she did a pretty good job also.

I honestly think Marvin was angry with commericalism in having her billed as singer for her name especially with other great singers out there like the then budding Yolanda Adams. This is why he just wracked it, sending the message that only worthy talent deserved to share the stage with him. Just my opinion.

What?! Look, I am a musician and I sing a little bit myself and I know what good singing is. What Taylor did on this show was abosolutely horrible. She did not bring her A game or whatever, she brought her F game. Nobody can blow Marvin out of the water. God gave Marvin a style that is all his own and nobody can touch him. Like I said before, Taylor was screaming, not singing, please don't tell me that it's not evident. It was very painful to hear.

She has a beautiful voice, and he is the King of "Working a song".Her voice is great in it's proper place.She kills on other songs, but not this(she had some moments in between screaming). He slayed this,cause that's what he does. He is annointed to sing. And I know him.4 real,he sweats at the drop of a hat.So please don't think she made him do that.He always starts on A and ends on A+.The Winans like her. And he did not pick her outfit,trust me!
