Did this cartoon really air after a Thanksgiving parade? Audio on this upload is a bit overshot; it hurt my ears. Are these on DVD? I only have pts. 3 & 4 recorded from when it was on the long-defunct Black Family Channel (which also had Tennessee Tuxedo w/original intro, outro, and middle bumper). I hope "Bar-Sinister" wasn't considered anti-Semitic at the tiime.
@lyssrina I can think of at least one cartoon where the sidekick is much smarter than the villain... which points out how completely incompetent the villain is. But that's a rare case.
Sorry, Flamenco, that is not quite right. Although it is true that the baton or bar sinister was once used in heraldry to denote illegitimacy, in trivial literature dating back to the late 1700s "Bar Sinister" was simply a common name for the villain in the piece, which is precisely what Simon is.
Here is something I bet nobody knows: The name of the villain Simon Bar Sinister was derived from the heraldic device, a bar going from top left to bottom right of the shield; called a Bar Sinister: which denoted birth out of wedlock. So Underdog was the first and only kids cartoon to call the bad guy a bastard!!!!!!

Underdog should have been on Sci-Fi Channel's "Sci-Fi Cartoon Quest", later "Animation Station.

The people who are supposed to defending the United States who are in the FBI and CIA and Secret Service should use Underdog Show as a manual.

I remember seeing this as a kid. Now I realize that the Pilgrims landed in the Wild West though. LOL
