It is absolutely lovely, and played so beautifully here. Please keep your faith during this difficult time I know I am trying to do the same.

  • My aunt, Sister Mary Carney, past away last year from a long battle with Alzheimer's. She dedicated 55 years of her life to the Church. This was one of her favorite hymns. Hearing you play it brought tears to my eyes as think of my beloved aunt. She also introduced me to another beautiful hymn by Sebastian Temple, 'All That I Am'. Are you familiar with it? Would it be possible for you to play that hymn in honor of my aunt? Thank you and God Bless.

  • I was married to a man named after St. Francis of Assissi

  • Very nice to hear. I recently moved and became part of a parish that offers only so-called "folk" masses. And you guessed it, off-key renditions on vocal and guitar of mostly songs no older than the 1970s and '80s. Truly a painful experience to sit through. Even "Aleluia" is sang in a weird modern way. Here's to the recent move toward traditionalism...

  • Thanks, come back soon †

  • your telling me, I go to a church that is against hymns and only sings contemporary music, definitely painful to sit through.

  • Hi Organpipe8: Wish you had not disabled comments on so many of your works - they are truly inspiring to me...so many lovely memories.
