yes they should be done at sunrise/dawn, noon (when the sun is at the center of the daily course), sunset/dusk, and midnight (when the side of the earth which is opposite to where you are is facing the sun). It could be done before each of your 3 meals (if you eat 3 meals,) and then before bed. Could be all done in the morn.
But, they can be done at any time, and make a great ritual for invoking when combined together as in the video. Could be done at any time during a meditation.
@HOORVT I was doing Resh at 6 a.m.-noon- 6.p.m.-midnight but wa struggling due to lack of sleep. It disrupted my study, work, and family life so I had to drop it. I feel a bit guilty and know I should. I see in your reply above that this may be done all at one time. I would like to do the full 4 quarter ritual at dawn but wasn't sure if it would be frowned upon.
@thelema3131 do it all at once, or when you can. Try to end off with the adoration which would normally be done at the time you have chosen to do the practice.
Some people will look down at anything that is not done exactly as it says. It comes down to the fact their look at things is only restrictive
"restriction is sin"
It also does not HAVE to be dawn 6 am, it can be your dawn - when you awake (if you keep a regular schedule unlike me)
@thelema3131 now if the sound is disturbing people, try silently at dawn and midnight, but i wake up my wife all the time shouting ritual at 4 am, so again do what you want, restriction is sin
shouldn't they be done as the sun reaches the various points
