Michael Waltrip isn't gay but he is a pathetic excuse for a competitor. This season has been a joke for he and his team. How long is it going to be before he taps a little of that Toyota success that Gibbs is having? You can almost set your watch by Michael Waltrip's wreck or go a lap down time each Sunday. It's as dependable a time source as Big Ben in England. He doesn't like a race finish position unless it's two digits long and begins with at least a 3!

I grew up with Mike Waltrip in Owensboro,Kentucky and have known him since we were in the fifth grade.There is no way he is gay and I think it's very mean to spread a nasty rumor like that to begin with.He just likes to at crazy and he happens to have a strong Kentucky accent.That's it.If you don't like him,then don't watch his races.He's a great guy and a great racer so please stop saying awful things about him.They are so not true.

It's called a sense of humor. Michael actually has one, and can say that joke knowing it's just a joke. Being a NASCAR fan myself, however, about 90% of all NASCAR fans are huge rednecks who are extremely homophobic, and this probably grossed them out.
