  • This was THE game from the 16-bit ear IMHO. It's simple and silly but great fun

  • I developed this Atari ST conversion and I left out a lot of sound efffects just for fun, I thought it would be funny to leave them out.

  • Good game, but with flawed collision detection. To play the best version of this game, download MAME ;)

  • how come those guys don't make a sound when they die? the programmers were that lazy not to include that? also no sound effect when someone falls on the floor from being hit. just plain lazy, not lack of hardware, but laziness. yet the graphics are excellent...

  • @AlirazaVideoGames Yes, sound effects wasn't the strong point of atari st, in a lot of games

  • this sound is cool but no deal

  • @JasonLee215 it has music you have to press f2

but its not the same music as the arcade

i have a video of it on my youtube uploads

  • Amiga version was better

  • @malc1976

the Amiga Double Dragon 2 had smaller size characters

  • @JasonLee310 No, the Amiga version has a larger resolution, they both uses the exact same graphics but due to the Amiga's larger playingfield they appear smaller.

  • @janmansde3dede

if Double Dragon 2 was directly ported on the Amiga computers

what difference would it make compared to the Atari ST DD 2 ?

would the characters in the Amiga port appear smaller in size ?

  • @JasonLee310 No, by the looks of things the Amiga port is done first since its really great and ported to the Atari ST and made the playing field on purpose even smaller (which is already smaller due to the smaller resolution) to maintain a very smooth framerate.

  • @janmansde3dede

the first Double Dragon looks like it was ported on the ST first

then ported on the Amiga computer Amiga port could be better

if Binary Design had ported DD 1 on the Amiga then on the ST

  • @JasonLee215 Sorry but i don't know

  • Needed 1 meg sT to get sound, from what I remember :)

  • i had ST Double Dragon II

    it didn't have sound effects
