hello, to increase flexibility in the most effective way, consider PNF stretching. you already may do this in yoga. research shows it to be more effective than static stretching. plus it is more interesting. basically, stretch in the air as much as you comfortably can, then hold the stretch in place against a static object, then contract against that object for a few seconds. then widen the stretch a bit and repeat this process a few times. demonstrations are contained on the youtube
