All living things resonate at a frequency of electro magnetic energy, this is what one feels when another looks at them. It's also what is used to heal. You can resonate on a negative or positive frequency. The positive is more powerful. When doing healing and keeping the ego mind out of the way,one person described to me the sensation of being surrounded by sunshine and warmth, the migraine+tooth ache that had bothered her for days left her.The power of using our energy for higher good.

Some people inherently have instinctual genes switched on. Commonly these genes are determined by the level of threat that society exposes the developing brain to. Most people in a calm non violent atmosphere do NOT develope these hieghtened senses. These gene switches have been documented in trauma patients by Biochemistry research. This trauma raises accuity & sends the human brain into raised Htz levels that exceed the average brain. These HTZ levels have been observed to spike past 60HTZ.
Most phenomenon are picked up by your senses. Your pet can hear & smell you before you open the door. There is actual beams of light coming from your eyes, although the htz levels are very low, this energy is being directed at a target in many cases & can make people nervous or insecure. Sometimes our subconscious plays off memory recall(unconscious) We can think about tacos, then a commercial comes on about tacos, but the commercials are layed out in a repetitious format daily.

This is also in Army Field Manuals concerning the neutralization of enemy sentries. It say not to stare at the sentry as there may be a 6th sense that could cause the enemy to sense your gaze.
the clicking...the one that;s clicking maybe more nervous one time then more "happy" and that clicking can suggest failure.....to the other man's mind...and then he tryes not to fail and he fails again and that's why he didn't pass the test at 5:16
This is distorting the truth, the truth lies in chances eg: What are the chances of someone in a room to stare at you? 90%? So they know those numbers and make people think there's something more to it than pure chance. This is NOT the way to approach such a sensitive subject, this is monkeys throwing feces at each other...
What a retard... the experiment blatantly failed.
Look here's the situation with knowing when someone was going to phone etc... people often think of other people, but mostly they don't call when you do think of them, but when they DO call you remember it as significant... however you forget all the other times.
Hence people 'think' that they are psychic, but if they actually marked down the times when they thought of someone and they didn't call then they'd get a clearer picture.
Very correct. People are not reliable regarding this. We attribute things post-event, we attribute happenings and actions with superstition and untruths because we want it to be like we attribute it as being.
i believe that intention plays a major part when you stare. if you stare at something with malicious intent, i believe it will be picked up more, than if you just stare at something/someone with no thought in mind, therefore i think that you can control somethings/people emotion and nature somehow with your own thoughts.
the easiest "scientific" experiment anyone can try is a coin one.
you flip a coin, and guess what side it lands (after the fact) and make a little chart where you mark all your wrong and right guesses. Keep track of those charts and do this continuously experimenting with it while you are in a different mood or mental state of mind (sleepy, physically fatigued, energized etc) and just compare the charts, observe your own senses, observe what you feel or how you feel while making a guess work.
@ActiveStorage I like the idea, and it's inspired me to try it. Also what I'd like to do is something charting how my mind keeps track of patterns. For example a free association of sorts using numbers say 1-10, and just randomly write them for a good 5 lines. Then observe the certain patterns made eg. numbers in sequence, or low high middle I could go on an on but there will likely be some noticeable patterns. What do you think?
@daddycubjudah i think math, arithmetic and numerical values are the product of human mind and therefore can be very misleading. There probably will be patterns. I think human beings can find patterns anywhere if they want to find one. It can be a very subjective thing i guess. I donno really
When we focus our atention on someone, she will perceive always, lest is too distracted. In a bus full of ppl, I can tell someone is looking at me, and usually, we raise the head to find the person imediately looking to your raising eyes... after what usually happens a little disconfort caused by the sudden confrontation. (Cont.)
Not a clue why or how this happens, but I'm pretty sure the event is directed by atention, awereness; not simply vision: a vision out of focus, with a corner of the eye, not really looking to the person, but wanting to look, causes as well. If someone is over hearding your conversation you tend to lower the tone without visual identification. (Cont.)
I find this video subject is related to the definition of atention found in Carlos Castañeda's books, and the probing phantom limbs are also there in the form of a tentacles species of a "soul limb". All very interesting, but nothing verifiable.
Heck if you look at a girl which you think is somehow appealing not only she would sometimes knew it but often the person next to her like her mother would sense it too and there was no staring involved . . .and no there was nothing like dirty thoughts too.
Women are more perceptive in general but this doesn't mean men can't feel it too.
And no it's not about magnetic spheres or anything like that. A person may even able to send mental communication to someone who is very very far..physically speaking.
And if you believe in God..the perception goes even to detect and 'see' that of subtle beings(spirits) and the mind of animals..and through God..even other realms and times.
feeling of being looked...well u can be wrong and ull never know if she or she was looking unless u turn around and verify...cud be paranoia...or its just reflex to check behind, as an animal reflex to verify if anything is tracking us..lol
The other day while I was having lunch at the food court at the mall, I was having fun intensely staring at people to see if they would notice. They didn't but it felt like the energy I was putting into staring at a single anonymous person came back to me through other anonymous people who would stare at me with that spooky knowing look. It probably according to science was nothing but it was fun regardless.
If your playing a video game you don't display your self disappointment when you loose except by touching your head or a part of your body in an itch scratching manner or you might turn your head around to see if someone is there ... The people turn around because of the situation they are in and they are grabbing a sense of embarassment out of the event even though it is hidden in the denial. I know this because I've had it happen and you really can't control that you do that. Others do too
yes they are all delluded :) what happens is that when you use up all your mental muscles you are worn out and you can't think strait no matter how smart you are you are worn out that's what it is.. No you know that they are staring at you through logical reasoning... the way they act would cause for the reaction if there is a disturbance in the train of thought of the person that is staring at you they might stop staring at you therefore this is why it is all a part of logical mind tracing.
big up sheldrake though i fucking love that guy, i used to listen to a lot of his talks that he did with terrence mckenna back in the day, Much love :)
good on rupert going out there and finding answers rather than revelling in the 'wonder' of the institutionalised atheists such as Dawkins. Wonder is a word they use to convey their questioning until they find an answer that sutes their paradigm. atheistic wonder = gleeful institutionalised ignorance of western capitalist material science that would rather have us munching pills than discovering our true nature.
I once read the wisdom of a sage and skilled deer hunter. He said from a hiidden stand, NEVER stare at the unknowing deer because it can FEEL your eyes watching it. Look around the approaching deer but not directly at it until just before you aim to shoot. A smart deer can 'feel your eyes' he said.
I say this is TRUE especially when one is alone in quiet to sense with the 3rd eye ... but it takes trained experience to read it well... humans are kinda dumb.
this is bullcrap. my parents live on a countryside and deers often come near their house. you can stare for them for hours but untill they smell you or hear you, they don`t know you`re there. same with birds, fish and other animals. look at how cats hunt: they look direcly at their prey, don`t even blink.
Maybe you can stare at them for hours UNLESS you have an intent to kill them. If you don't they ignore you, perhaps? PLANTS connected to a lie detector seem to get "upset" when you light a lighter with the intent to burn them. Why would deers be dumber than that?
my cat has intent to kill his prey every time he sees it. and yet, he still brings dead animals to our house. how is this possible if, according to you, animals can feel your intentions? and if deer only run when they feel you want to hurt them, why do they also run when they smell you? and how did they evolve to feel our emotions? and how is this even possible?
Maybe cats don't send off these signals? Deers run smelling you maybe on reflex? I don't know how they/we evolved that way, it certainly is desirable from the survival perspective, isn't it. Man, I dislike thick-headed fundamentalist materialist just as much as hippie pseudo-scientists. Dr. Sheldrake is neither. Don't be a bigot and admit there are possibilities out there we don't know about yet.
How is this even possible? Dr. Sheldrake proposes the theory of extended mind. Personally, I believe organisms at times tap into collective unconcious. Before you laugh, many cultures take the "collective mind" for granted, also many western scientists/psychologist tend to accept it's existence.
In 'Experiments on the Sense of Being Stared At' Summary

noted 63% correct blindfolded and 65% correct not blindfolded when students were tested under rigorous scientific method and someone WAS staring but unseeable. When NOT staring they were 51% and 55% correct. Individual's psi ability varies.
I have experienced something similar, i remember that it really felt like someone stared at me through my bedroom window, it was sooo dammed creepy i had to shut the curtain. the next day i could see tracks from a moose in the snow.
So mayby it was standing outside and looked in at me, but it was a really creepy feeling :-P
@SmokinGoodMary I read about this same piece of advice when studying Japanese history of ninja's and espionage. There'd be texts explaining that a ninja was not supposed to eye his assassination target because your target may feel it.
@SmokinGoodMary or the deer eye is more sensitive to the visual sensation on an eye looking at it. Or the hunter gets more emotional sensations of adrenaline when looking directly at it, causing sweating or more heavily breathing, making the hunter more easy to detect.
hm. i am afraid he is very biased from the beginning. 20 trials is the minimum to get anything statistically valid. he knows that, that is why he is starting with 20 trials in the first place. ... but then he finds seven hits in a row very significant. at least significant enough to state: "you got into IT". does not sound like good science to me. because the actual result of the test was: 20 trials. pure random outcome.
I don't understand why people don't make the next step into this state of mind and live this way. I spend a lot of time with my perceptions, how I conceive, what I analyze, and I use my senses.. all of them.
I can translate a perfect sense of what i'm feeling by talking to someone, if I stare at them I give off my state of mind, I can sense people's attention and awareness.. you can sense pretty much any aspect of the mind if you let yourself figure it out.
we`ve evolved to understand human emotions through bodylanguage. you can read over 30 emotions juzt by looking at a photo of somedody`s eyes (yes, there have been tests prooving that). this is pure science.
It may be possible byt most likely its a dorment sense that humans or a prior ancestor had that allowed us to tell if preadators were stalking us having to do with magnetic fields
This proves nothing. The scientific meathod requires you to test and retest multiple times with multiple subjects, and with a control group.
This one was one test with one subject.
Granted he got the banana score (a monkey could do it), but this doesn't prove anything.
I work in the medical sciences and believe we have abilities we haven't mastered, but some eastern cultures have through meditation. I don't understand it or this, but I know that we def don't know everything.
I always feel that someone is after me... my terapist says I'm neurotic, I tell him I just have an extended mind... he gives me some pills, I dont take them... I'm feeling like I'm bieng read right know... I'm scared...
use white light meditation ( imagine light like laser decsending from above and washing between the atoms of your body until there is no place light is not.)and live right, it alters your frequency, you may be being read or it could be a chemical imbalance. hard to know. all mind is one anyway. you may just be perceiving mind or a mind near to you. I you feel unsafe i have found prayer for protection in jesus name is also helpful.
Thats odd..its the opposite for me..sometimes I feel like i'm being followed or that theres someone behind me..but when I look theres nothing..or no ones looking...I'm sure people probably stare but I'm never in time to catch them.
I actually have this but all the time. Well its almost like its out of control. I can make my neighbors feel like I am present or being looked at. Sometimes I can control it but sometimes I can not.
I can actually feel it working and I can make it instant. It actually depends on the receptors own level of awareness that causes the sensitivity of your energy field.
i just saw an interview that explained how research like this is shunned among the educated community, but there in an increasing amount of people interested in studying it. i am one of them.
seriously though i believe in psychic phenomena and stuff but i never know when someone is staring at me. once on the train i started to feel really uncomforable and i didnt understand why and when i looked up someone appeared to be looking intently at me. i don't know... probably a coincidence.
i never know who is calling on the phone either (unless i have caller id :P)
Many years ago public television had a special called "the Glorious accident" that had sheldrake , stephen jay gould etc.. in a round table talking about this stuff ,sheldrake was bringing up facts like starling birds , schools of fish are shown to move in sync simultaneously with no delay on high speed cameras , very difficult for naturalists to explain , Gould didnt seem to want to answer.
Emergence , uhhh yahhhhh , I have, but so far its just an impotent word to label something Naturalists cant explain. Maybe you need to read up a little more and what it "explains" and does not.
Oh I'm quite familiar with emergence, and it might be a counter intuitive topic, but it's a very real phenomenon. It's for instance quite easy to emulate "school of fish"-like behavior in a computer program, by using simple rules for "individuals", even though there is no central controller orchestrating the movement and patterns emerging. Emergence is also most likely the facilitator for consciousness. Again, please read up on the subject before giving impotent replies. ;)
not gotten that memo yet, you must be way ahead of the curve on that one, rules explain people being stared at,? rules explain fish moving at same time in same direction despite no obvious external cause like a pradator ? rules explain you being aware of your keyboard ? and these same mindless rules make you type a response too ? Ok im inclined to believe the last one but the rest seem unbeliable to me.
well, gee guys, i don't mean to but in, and i don't know no nothings about emergence and all that jazz, but look up "global conciousness project" on youtube, then tell me what is making the chaos turn into order... 2012 is just a year (like Y2K), but the internet is constantly teaching people who activly seek knowledge. and putting someone down does not help anyone learn anything, my fellow pioneer of technology.
To recon someone staring at me, is for me just a matter of perhaps 2 to 3 seconds. Perhaps, a scary situation for a non-believer of para normal phenomena.

Keep track of those charts and do this continuously experimenting with it while you are in a different mood or mental state of mind (sleepy, physically fatigued, energized etc) and just compare the charts, observe your own senses, observe what you feel or how you feel while making a guess work.
ActiveStorage 1 year ago
@ActiveStorage I like the idea, and it's inspired me to try it. Also what I'd like to do is something charting how my mind keeps track of patterns. For example a free association of sorts using numbers say 1-10, and just randomly write them for a good 5 lines. Then observe the certain patterns made eg. numbers in sequence, or low high middle I could go on an on but there will likely be some noticeable patterns. What do you think?
daddycubjudah 10 months ago
@daddycubjudah i think math, arithmetic and numerical values are the product of human mind and therefore can be very misleading. There probably will be patterns. I think human beings can find patterns anywhere if they want to find one. It can be a very subjective thing i guess. I donno really

When we focus our atention on someone, she will perceive always, lest is too distracted. In a bus full of ppl, I can tell someone is looking at me, and usually, we raise the head to find the person imediately looking to your raising eyes... after what usually happens a little disconfort caused by the sudden confrontation. (Cont.)
billingrateS 1 year ago
Not a clue why or how this happens, but I'm pretty sure the event is directed by atention, awereness; not simply vision: a vision out of focus, with a corner of the eye, not really looking to the person, but wanting to look, causes as well. If someone is over hearding your conversation you tend to lower the tone without visual identification. (Cont.)
billingrateS 1 year ago
I find this video subject is related to the definition of atention found in Carlos Castañeda's books, and the probing phantom limbs are also there in the form of a tentacles species of a "soul limb". All very interesting, but nothing verifiable.
billingrateS 1 year ago
Heck if you look at a girl which you think is somehow appealing not only she would sometimes knew it but often the person next to her like her mother would sense it too and there was no staring involved . . .and no there was nothing like dirty thoughts too.
Women are more perceptive in general but this doesn't mean men can't feel it too.
MichaelWithstand 1 year ago
And no it's not about magnetic spheres or anything like that. A person may even able to send mental communication to someone who is very very far..physically speaking.
And if you believe in God..the perception goes even to detect and 'see' that of subtle beings(spirits) and the mind of animals..and through God..even other realms and times.
MichaelWithstand 1 year ago
he should not tell him, he should just stared from the back.

Equi0xify 2 years ago
It's not exactly true. It's possible to stalk people without them ever knowing you were ever there stalking them.
You need to have some soundproof barrier, because people can be more aware of it.

No you know that they are staring at you through logical reasoning... the way they act would cause for the reaction if there is a disturbance in the train of thought of the person that is staring at you they might stop staring at you therefore this is why it is all a part of logical mind tracing.

good on rupert going out there and finding answers rather than revelling in the 'wonder' of the institutionalised atheists such as Dawkins.

SmokinGoodMary 2 years ago 21
this is bullcrap. my parents live on a countryside and deers often come near their house. you can stare for them for hours but untill they smell you or hear you, they don`t know you`re there. same with birds, fish and other animals. look at how cats hunt: they look direcly at their prey, don`t even blink.
unkaodya 2 years ago 2
Maybe you can stare at them for hours UNLESS you have an intent to kill them. If you don't they ignore you, perhaps? PLANTS connected to a lie detector seem to get "upset" when you light a lighter with the intent to burn them. Why would deers be dumber than that?
goddard33 2 years ago
my cat has intent to kill his prey every time he sees it. and yet, he still brings dead animals to our house. how is this possible if, according to you, animals can feel your intentions? and if deer only run when they feel you want to hurt them, why do they also run when they smell you? and how did they evolve to feel our emotions? and how is this even possible?
tm1985 2 years ago
Maybe cats don't send off these signals? Deers run smelling you maybe on reflex? I don't know how they/we evolved that way, it certainly is desirable from the survival perspective, isn't it. Man, I dislike thick-headed fundamentalist materialist just as much as hippie pseudo-scientists. Dr. Sheldrake is neither. Don't be a bigot and admit there are possibilities out there we don't know about yet.
goddard33 2 years ago
How is this even possible? Dr. Sheldrake proposes the theory of extended mind. Personally, I believe organisms at times tap into collective unconcious. Before you laugh, many cultures take the "collective mind" for granted, also many western scientists/psychologist tend to accept it's existence.
goddard33 2 years ago
hey really?

unkaodya, I'm glad you voice a skeptical mind. Scientific studies vary online.
In 'Experiments on the Sense of Being Stared At' Summary
w w w. sheldrake. org /
papers / Staring / artefacts _ elim. pdf
(drop spaces)
noted 63% correct blindfolded and 65% correct not blindfolded when students were tested under rigorous scientific method and someone WAS staring but unseeable.

You know that's not true. It's wishful thinking and superstition.
When people talk about this in this video, they don't know what they're talking about. They exhaggerate A LOT.
Having strong senses is a natural thing, you learn to listen, you learn to see, it's not supernatural or wierd.

@SmokinGoodMary I read about this same piece of advice when studying Japanese history of ninja's and espionage. There'd be texts explaining that a ninja was not supposed to eye his assassination target because your target may feel it.
espionaj008 10 months ago

Someone is feeling for me right now.

we`ve evolved to understand human emotions through bodylanguage. you can read over 30 emotions juzt by looking at a photo of somedody`s eyes (yes, there have been tests prooving that). this is pure science.

I don't understand it or this, but I know that we def don't know everything.

use white light meditation ( imagine light like laser decsending from above and washing between the atoms of your body until there is no place light is not.)and live right, it alters your frequency, you may be being read or it could be a chemical imbalance. hard to know. all mind is one anyway. you may just be perceiving mind or a mind near to you.

Many years ago public television had a special called "the Glorious accident" that had sheldrake , stephen jay gould etc.. in a round table talking about this stuff ,sheldrake was bringing up facts like starling birds , schools of fish are shown to move in sync simultaneously with no delay on high speed cameras , very difficult for naturalists to explain , Gould didnt seem to want to answer.
grandconjunct 4 years ago 2
Eh? Hard? Ever heard of emergence? Read up on it.
quathar 3 years ago
Emergence , uhhh yahhhhh , I have, but so far its just an impotent word to label something Naturalists cant explain. Maybe you need to read up a little more and what it "explains" and does not.
"
grandconjunct 3 years ago
Oh I'm quite familiar with emergence, and it might be a counter intuitive topic, but it's a very real phenomenon. It's for instance quite easy to emulate "school of fish"-like behavior in a computer program, by using simple rules for "individuals", even though there is no central controller orchestrating the movement and patterns emerging. Emergence is also most likely the facilitator for consciousness. Again, please read up on the subject before giving impotent replies. ;)
quathar 3 years ago
emergence explains conciousness ?
oh ok supergenious apparently the world has
not gotten that memo yet, you must be way ahead of the curve on that one, rules explain people being stared at,? rules explain fish moving at same time in same direction despite no obvious external cause like a pradator ? rules explain you being aware of your keyboard ? and these same mindless rules make you type a response too ? Ok im inclined to believe the last one but the rest seem unbeliable to me.
grandconjunct 3 years ago
well, gee guys, i don't mean to but in, and i don't know no nothings about emergence and all that jazz, but look up "global conciousness project" on youtube, then tell me what is making the chaos turn into order... 2012 is just a year (like Y2K), but the internet is constantly teaching people who activly seek knowledge. and putting someone down does not help anyone learn anything, my fellow pioneer of technology.
