I still think Sue Lyon is one classy lady, if only because she's so easy on the eyes. The rather conservative look with her in the evening dress and pearls and sort of Jackie hairdo just about frame 1:26 gives her a credible 'real movie star' appearance.I felt a lot of empathy for her over her real car wreck as I was run over, also, while a passenger years ago. Hopefully Sue might consider another new role someday and delight fans new and old. She's so photogenic. what a cute tune.

Actually Marlon Brando was to play Humbert. Kubrick wanted Haley Mills to play Lolita, but her dad nixed it. Also Kubrick wanted Joey Heatherton to play Lolita but Joey's dad also nixed saying she didn't want her daughter to be typecast as a "sex kitten." Haley and Joey's loss was Sue's gain.
fell in love with her in the movie flim-flam man. i'm sure that is one reason that still today( i'm 58 ) I still say country girls are the hottest girls on the planet. I still watch this movie from time to time. I wonder what she is doing now
