  • Epiphany!

I've been shooting a hair over 8 months now and am progressing well, but I've been struggling with a few things of late. Bow shoulder and draw elbow have been feeling off, and most of my strays go to the left (right handed archer). I get good advice, but lack understanding.

Your explanation from 21:00 linked the elbow and stray issues together beautifully.

The more I understand the sport, the easier (conceptually) it seems to me. This video should put an extra 10 points on my PB. :)

  • @thirteenfingers I am happy to hear this helped! The difficult part of these concepts is that it takes a lot of flexibility and strength to contort yourself properly to achieve good alignment. 99% of archers are NOT in as good of alignment as they should be and they are limited by their lack of flexibility!

  • This was filmed in late 2007. Sorry for the long time to upload! I re-found it on my computer and thought it would be worth sharing!

  • Nice!

    When was this filmed?

  • @jeroen9797 late 2007

  • Good job ! Awesome explanations.

  • @KeluxPt Happy to help! Please let me know if you have any questions.

We would love some video to critique at Astra Archery

Please post a video reply and I'll do some analysis!
