I played your video because I like to listen to the Smiths but for the first time ever I found that I was more interested in the video than the song! Expert piece my friend.
nothing is stopping anyone from making a video of their own with black women, red women or purple women. That's the problem with the world these days. Everyone wants stuff handed to them instead of getting up on their own two feet and making things happen for themselves. Im sure the ppl complaining that there's no black women in this video are the same ppl who expect to be taken cared of by the gubment.
@LDD86 maybe it's just a coincidence that there's none in the video? [then again, I feel like there were one or two.] anyway, all these are stars from a long while ago. you know how prevalent black women were during that time? not very. don't blame the OP, blame the time these girls lived in.
@LDD86 Ummm....did you not notice the lovely and iconic Dorothy Dandridge at 1:04. She was a beautiful actress/singer from the 1950's. She was even nominated for an academy award for best acress in 1954.
@IHATEPRINCETON Hi! Well, ) was actually referring to the clip but anyway )'ll rephrase it: it's lovable, very tastefully done. That was my meaning.Besides, about the song: what can ) say? One of the 5 best 80's songs least.
