You don't need to download usbsss

Just click select when your psp is on

Go down to usb device

click right until you get umd disk

Press select to get out of there and then go into USB mode

Open the removable disk a boom, you got your ISO :)

you dont need usbsss to do that

first, you have to completely shutdown your psp

then while its off, hold the R trigger and turn on the psp

then when the M33 menu shows

you go to configurations

then XMB USB device

and keep on clicking on it until it is on UMD Disc.

After that you have to put your game in the slot and put your Memory stick in the slot

finally go to usb mode and open the drive and you will see the umd file

I put the umbsss in psp/game150 and then when I open my PSP I don't see anything I can open.

To all those running recent M33 firmware (I think 3.71 and up should be good to go): you probably don't need USB-SSS.

Instead:

1. When at your PSP main menu, press SELECT and it should bring up a little menu.

2. Set the "USB Device" to "UMD Disc".

3. Now plug the PSP into your PC and turn on USB Connection. Instead of showing you the memory stick, it will show you a folder with an ISO. That's the ISO for your UMD. Copy it to your desktop.

4. Follow the video from 1:55.

Tested with 4.01 M33-2.

Funny, I had the same error code earlier, I don't remember what UMD ripper I was using. I have 4.1 m33 CFW on my 2000, and I thought that might have something to do with it.

I just found out included with my pandora and MMS program is a UMD ripper. I'll have to check it out.

Hi, USB SSS is showing, just as it did on your psp game menu, on my psp, but when I run it, it shows the PSP logo thenafter 5 secs it ends up telling me that the game could not be run, I'm using cfw 4.01 - m33, is there any specific cfw I need, tell what cfw i need in order to do this dude. is the game in your 1.5 folder? and do you have the 1.5 addon installed? you can only install the 1.5 addon if you are on a phat btw. also, i think you have to set the homebrew folder to 1.5 in recovery.

firmware is your PSP's system software, ex. Version 1.50 (SONYs Official) or 2.71 HEN, 3.40 OE-A, 4.01 M33-2 (Custom FirmWare Editions).

CFW are better than SONYs Official because the XMB Theme are interchangable and it allows you run Full PSP Games(ISO,CSO) without having a UMD which makes a PSP more entertaining. Theirs alot you can do to a CFW. Hope this helps :)

it depends on the game, and yes it does make it much smaller, some games are reduced to half of the size or more, but some other just very little, also, that compression will increase the load time of the game, cause iso's play at top speed, but in some games, this isn't noticeable
