The market is going to establish a new interm low....it's a safe bet to 6000...maybe 5700....but with each new low, the masses become a little more aware....and another new low comes when the current fundamentals of the economy....point to more pain, more bailouts, more unemployment, more bankruptsy, more forclosures.....more pain to come...probably lots more..

All you have to do is watch the daily dumping of gold by the US bullion banks which starts daily around 9:30AM. When they run out of their daily limit to sell, you'll see the downtrend abruptly stop, and then resume it's inevitable climb.

I see strong support for DOW at 4k. Draw a support line on the DOW chart connecting 1932 and 1982 lows.
