Try letting more line out and putting the lure out earlier. Your 'luring' the bird not swinging for it as it goes by. If the day feels to windy for a novice, dont fly! Easy to really injure the bird if you catch it wrong with the wind behind.
Once the bird is on your fist, keep still till its finished eating, don't rush to grab its equipment or you make it more possesive of its food. One of the harder skills to learn luring, let alone master so keep practising! Good on ya for sharing.
Great Job with the Bird!! From a fellow Falconer. and ignore stupid comments from people who know nothing about your passion and what we do. And to the person needing help to protect pigeons. Try finding out where your local falconers are they would love to come over and trap some hawks and falcons for you
Beautiful bird, I am Irish and breeders(reputable ones) are thin on the ground . I wonder if you could supply me with a list saker/gyr's, lanners or even harris's
i have to say owls where my only fav birds of prey but seeing that im thinkin diffrent wish my barn owl was that graceful mine just gos up into a tree and dont cum down for ages but hes just checkin out his enviroment
Very Awsome Video! Beautiful Bird! Nice Camera work, I could see the whole scene and how you connected with the Falcon! You seemed so natural around the bird and you made Luring look so easy, Thanks!
Il tuo falco vola bene. Però complimenti anche a te che lo maneggi bene e con delicatezza.

Nice bird and good work under the windy conditions. Ignore the bad comments from the Jerks and A holes and all the other perfect people out there.
