one of the greatest rap albums ever made....so slept on...thank god for youtube...people can still hear the clasics....because this album is out of print
YOOO!!!!!!! I USED ORIDE AROUND IN MY UNCLES PEARL WHITE CADILLAC WITH THE RAG TOP BACK IN THE EARL 90 BANGIN' THIS WHOLE CASSETTE!! WE FELT EVERY FUCKIN NOTE IU WAS SAYIN THRU THE WHOLE TAPE!!
underground rap music at its finest....barrowed this tape from a friend back then and i still have it....peace to the god i.u.,been repn this for madd long....strong island forever.....still cant believe i met the god bob james....
like da brotha said earlier, i bumped this tape too. not 2 boast, but i was always da bra 2 get da hottest joints 1st & have everybody bumpin' 'em. one love 2 hip-hop 4-eva.
This was my favorite cut on this tape . Thats right , you younstaz don't know nuttin' bout dem tapes . This is still a banger 2 this day !! Classic !!
This was the coldest track on his album. Hard to believe this produced by Biz Markie but then Biz always knew how to flip a sample. I guess you can't hang around Marley Marl and not learn a lil something.
So so ahead of its time!! Production was imaginative as well as the flow. The records companies are missing this untainted spirit that these guys brought. Def Jam dis - owning what created it? Would Atlantic or Capitol do that? No class labels need mass destruction!! No diss towards Cold Chillen as far as I know. Keep real hip hop alive yall!!
Straight legalized dope man, it gets no better than this early 90s ish. Its still amazes me how underrated this album was, I used to get clowned for having this one since I am from LA. I gots to give it up to the NYC man, only the IU could bust lyrics over a straight jacked Bob James sample with literally nothing added and it sounds fresher than some thousand dollar produced garbage I hear out of folks these days. Man I miss Marley Marl, BDK, Biz and the Juice Crew....
I think this is the best track on the LP. I bought this LP on the strength of this song.

Notice here the U combines hardcore lyrics with a smooth funk atmosphere.
People were calling Dr Dre a genius when he did that on the Chronic two years later.
