The colors in these paintings are bold and beautiful. Each piece has a fluidity that comes from the artist's masterful use of space, line, and shape - they move in front of your eyes. Although each painting is different from the next in composition, they are all unified by a specific and very strong vision. He is clearly the type of artist that likes to work through a particular vision or style, learning everything he can from it, before moving on. Bravo for Mr. Evans, a true NYC painter!

@JNieckarz I agree. They are fine decoration for a wall, but not very substantial, and don't seem to explore anything. The 1940's are over...
