I'll vastly oversimplifiy, but even if a 1980s mustang with a v8 got 33mpg (generous figure) with 33% engine efficiency (very generous figure), you'd still have to violate thermodynamics to get even 100 mpg. :)
The engine efficiency would be much higher than 33%. Not only is the power coming from gasoline, but also from the electromagnets everytime one of the pistons completes a cycle.
those who post negative comments...why don't you get off the couches and do something with your sorry ass lives...i don't see you inventing anything lately !!!
"CEO Jeff Broin (POET LLC) visited with Doug Pelmear, developer of the revolutionary HP2g engine, at the HP2g Engine Manufacturing Facility last week to get a first-hand look at the ethanol-fueled engine capable of achieving 110 miles per gallon.
POET is the largest ethanol producer in the world, with a network of 26 plants in seven states producing more than 1.5 billion gallons of ethanol annual."
Look into how ethanol is made. It takes 2 gallons of gasoline to make a gollon of ethanol. Also much of the world is now starving because of our new direction on corn.
The "The Emperor Wears No Clothes: Hemp and the Marijuana Conspiracy" by Jack Herer? Due to the increased automobile mileage, the reduction in the use of gasoline will make alcohol more cost effective.
Now we are talking. What is it all about? There is a guy who can drive his car on water alone.. And we are messing around with this. It won't happen. It will be shoved to the side and bought.
Watch "Who Killed The Electic Car" Documentry if it can still be found.
What's with you folks, there are other videos and other forms of proof online, the guy just oped a 100,000sf production plant in ohio HP2G definitely looks real from here, why don't you complain about something that is bad like the fact that he uses ethanol instead of CNG or biodiesel from algae. While on your dis-information campaign you may have noticed the 150 mpg Massive Yet Tiny Engine, while it's real enough for NASA it probably won't be for you. Get a life. Congratulations HP2G!
Yes, there are a lot of videos BUT no proof. I wish it was true but it is not. He is not getting 100mpg with an engine that can produce 400hp period. the info he is publishing is bogus. Engines in 1905 might have gotten a low efficiency of 8% but nothing currently being manufactured is that bad. Most are in the high twenties NOT 8% as he claims.
Time will show that Doug is a scam artist - sorry.
mileage is not about max hp of the engine. It is how much regen you have, and the hp required at cruise due to aero, mass effects this on grades. I have personally built a car that will achieve this with a few mods such as cam deactivation under cruise, and activate turbo and large injectors when flooring it.
Punch HP2G into the search box, look at the other videos or read the article in the Toledo Blade, they just started production in Ohio (with various other forms of proof all around). Why don't you complain about something that is bad like the music or the fact that he uses ethanol (he could be using CNG or biodiesel from algae). You will be really sad when you find out about the 150 mpg Massive Yet Tiny Engine, but you may already know, you're on a dis-information campaign. Do you sleep ok?
Well tend to agree with you freakin, I mean what was the point , although yes, nice car, but some comments about the technology would be nice, oh wait it was subliminally in the heavy metal music, (hold on now playing this video backwards), oh now it makes cents, ha
Wow, a mustang that can drive and spin tires in water..... Sooo cool.... Why not show something, ANYTHING, about the engine and the technology your using, not just it driving around? Oh yeah thats right, because it doesn't exist!!! COMPLETE BS!!!

@Neosquall you cant compare an internal combustion engine to a truly hybrid engine.
