  • I was there :-D

She had some problems with the sound. You could tell that she was particularly annoyed with it when she was performing "Army of me".

She also sang the happy birthday song (in Icelandic) for one of her musicians :-)

    It was an awesome performance!

  • Aww her voice was so hoarse and coarse.

But doing such a long tour, this is expected.

She was still amazing anyway! ^-^

  • by the way i love her dress!!!!! <3

  • poor B. :( she has courage!! i know what it is to be sick like that....i also like to sing, it is horrible, and she still stands and sings, i have so much respect for her now

    waiting for a new cd!!!!!!

  • Poor B, she was so sick that day. And still she stands there singing like the die-hard she is. Love her!

  • she kinda looks like Amy Lee here.... or Amy Lee looks like her.... which is a good thing

  • Круто

  • Takes courage to perform like that when she was so ill :( I still think it was a fantastic performance and I love Bjork so much :D

  • VOLTAIC NOW!!

  • THANKS SO MUCH YUNO! (:

  • She's been better, but I understand if she has a virus.

  • I think she had to cancel a couple of gigs at midd 2008 cuz of a virus...

    Anyway she still rocks

  • im so impatient!...

    cause i want VOLTAIC!

but, i hope bjork released soon a new CD, causeee she cant stope here!!!

  • she is laready working on it

but give her 3 or 4 years to do it

    but don't forget:

    it'll be a masterwork (;

btw - i want voltaic too

  • Oh no! That's so sad :-(

By the way, I laughed so hard when I watched the video of your cat watching the other two cats on Youtube :-) Hahahaha have you seen the one of a cat watching Enya? It's SOOO funny!

  • Aw you looked at that? Well wait, of course, check your username. hehehehe. Glad you liked it!

Not seen the Enya one, link me! :)

  • Thanks for uploading! Do you know where I can find the actual stream online?

  • Sadly, you can't. It was supposed to be put up for on-request streaming on the National Geographic site, but never was. :(

  • Adoro...Bjork tem uma voz perfeita, adoro essa roupa, adoro Wanderlust.

  • Great show..... I always love Bjork!

  • IN LOVE WITH THE DRESS

  • I agree she should rest her voice, but when listening to her, she still is great! Just the actual sound of her voice is off, at least she showed up! Look at some other artists! I think its still a great performance, she singing in time, ect.

  • she just shows love in different ways than other people... I feel it.

  • It's nice that even though she was sick, she really pushed herself for the Icelandic people and the cause of keeping Iceland a good, clean place to live for future generations.

I hope she takes time-out to rest and get better.

Oh, I noticed some people saying they liked this version of Hyperballad; the instrumentals are actually from LFO's song "Freak" if you'd like it on your ipod. ^_^

  • The next show will be in Lithuania. I hope so.

  • well thats truth

she is disconected with the people

    but not at all

in some concerts she is really happy to talk with people, i had the oportunity to saw her in mexico, her concert was awesome but she wasn't to interested to contact with us I respect her, but she must be a little more closely to her fans, have you ever seen a picture from her with any fan?

  • indeed.

    i was there too.

  • yes, I saw two or three pictures with fans

  • @fuckinbi Well she is wary of fans. You know, after her crazy fan from the 90's. Things didnt end so well did they? So in a sense she has a good reason not to get to attatched to her fans.

  • please, Bjork. You're supposed to rest for your throat and voice. I really don't want to you to lose unique voice. :(

  • She has to now. This is a press statement Björk released.

"Sadly, due to medical issues with her voice, Björk has to cancel the show in Helsinki. Ticket holders should return tickets to point of purchase to get a ticket refund.

Björk thanks her fans for their understanding and support."

It's starting to get serious. She cancelled three dates in a row. I told people that an 18 month world tour would destroy her voice. We all want her to be healthy. She just needs to take a break and heal!

  • Einar örn fellow member of the sugarcubes ones said that Björk should be left alone, that she loves performing and singing. but outside that you should leave her by herself.

  • her voice sounds so strained!

poor bjork , she's definetely tired, for sure!

but she did it for a great cause, that's so valuable!

    i love her so much!

  • Even with that soar throat she gives a brilliant perfomance. Nice to see one of the few treu artist who loves her audience and still gives a 100%!

Seeing her at MELT fetival in Germany in 15 days :D

  • loves her audience my ass. have you ever been to one of her shows? she's completely disconnected, and doesnt even talk or anything...

  • Well look carefully and watch the declare independence vid from the nattura concert

And yeah of coarse she can't connect with people individually when she's in front of 100000's of people

  • I saw her last year at MSG and she was completely engaged. She doesn't tell jokes or share personal anecdotes from her life, but she's a totally killer performer. She doesn't have to reach out to us, because she knows we're right there in the moment with her.

  • At least you know it's live!! No back vocals to pick up where she can't sing from her score voice. I love Bjork. I was lucky enough to see her in the very beginning of this very long tour.

  • aaaa nooo, pobre björk, dejenla descansar!!!

bjork ya no cantes, kapaz de ke hasta te kedas sin voz y ya no grabas mas cd's

    REST BJÖRK!!!

  • she was a little ill that day...i think her throat was hurting a lot!

  • I hope so You get better soon my dear Björk......

  • oh, no her voice seems worn out from so much touring. :0

  • am i wrong or does the icelandic audience REALLY DO justice to its name? wherever björk performs the audience freaks out and dances, the icelanders however really seem to be made of ice...

  • I know! I's so weird. They barely even moved for Pluto and Delcare Independence.

  • Oh my god!... sh's so sick... she should take a brake... I'm so worried about her... I couldn't live without her voice... I need to know she'll be okay... :'(

  • From Björk - "After Saturday's "Nattura" concert in Iceland, and due to ongoing throat problems, Björk has been advised by her doctors to rest her voice this week and will unfortunately have to cancel her rescheduled Sheffield show on the 2nd July. It is unlikely that this show can be rescheduled so all ticket holders should seek full refunds from their point of purchase. Björk is extremely disappointed to have to cancel the show and sends her apologies to everyone who had bought tickets."

  • yes she was a little bit sick and by consequently the Sheffield concert for july 2nd was cancelled

damn! i was so close to see her live!

    so sad

well... i think i will see her in one of her future concerts

    great show this Nattura concert

    got to love Bjork

  • Her voice will heal. She's had a sore throat and she did go to a doctor a few months ago for vocal cord damage. She is damaging her voice, but its not that bad. She is still going to be amazing, she just needs a break, thats all! She will heal, a doctor will help.

  • nice!

  • amazing voice dreamy music yummy i like it!

  • her voice is here not so good as always, she was sick

  • But she is making so much money off this tour. Maybe thats how she is surviving the dying music industry - tour so much to make as much money as it will take to produce your next album. Just a guess.

  • the money of her man, and her cds sell over 25 millions since yet

  • anyway she is lovely...

  • it pains me to see her voice deteriorate like that :(

  • Yea, this 18 month world tour is damaging her voice. She can't even utilize her upper register or even scream now! But hopefully she will take a break from singing after the tour and just relax and grow her trachea back! But she is gonna bounce back and make an amazing album. She always does well.

  • her voice isn't ruined, she has cold (don't now if its the right word) she said it itself, poor björk

  • Watch some shows from a few weeks ago, her voice is getting worse. But I knew she had a cold, thats why her voice sounds deeper. I hope I'm not offending, it's just an observation.

  • she had this a few years ago at the post tour,

she must n the hospital, it was something with her vocal cords, but here its only a cold, no worry :)

  • ahhh, I see her in three weeks, perhaps her voice is a bit better then :) anyway its evrytime great to see her

  • It's been officially confirmed that had a cold and a very sore throat, so that's why she sounded so raspy.

She sounds better than that usually.

  • Thanks! I love Volta tour version of Hyperballad, so powerful... does someone know what she said about her cold?

  • her voice sounds a bit dark here, it's cool that they use beats from the matthew herbert remix now :) thanks for posting
