Number 1 - in the video the "FOAB" was dropped by a cargo plane, not a Blackjack. If you watch closely at the drop, the bomb is moving backwards (rolling off of a cargo ramp) prior to the stabilizing chute deployment. They may be able to modify it to fit inside a Blackjack but unlike the MOAB (which has guidance fins), the FOAB doesn't look like a precision attack weapon (not that you have to be all that precise with a 440 ton (equivalent) bomb!

Who should really be worried? with US subs stationed off of Hawaii, Guam, Okinawa, US SLBM's could strike mainland China in less than 10 minutes whereas a Chinese launch would take over an hour.

People always say you have to be worried about a second strike, but that's not true. When you obliterate a country in one fell swoop, who will counter-launch? The blasts and radius from over 100 nuke ICBM's would end communications effectively, and then you have the launching country monitoring.

I believe the weakest part of Russia's military is now their navy. Outdated fleets, aging subs, and lack of power projection is their downfall. This is why they are buying those France Mistral ships. Russia's air force however, is still exceptional.

In terms of unconventional warfare, Russia may still have more total warheads, but they will easily lose to the United states in nuclear war. However, Russia will obliterate China, UK, France etc. in a nuclear war hands down.

As for Europe, while France and Germany have far better and more modern jets and equipment, Russia still maintains enough strength to take on all of Europe. However, they have now lost the conventional war against the Chinese who have surpassed them.

The reason why Russia is in a bad position is, when they lost Ukraine, they lost Sevastopol where the Black Sea Fleet stays. It is also where they built their impressive destoryers and Akula subs but now have to nofify Ukraine AND pay lease.

When they lost Kazakhstan, they lost the Baikonaur Cosmodrome and could no longer test nuclear missiles. They are only able to use Baikonaur to launch Soyuz space rockets. Russia losing Ukraine and Kazakhstan would be like USA losing California and Texas.
