Mr. Zardari did not usurp powers under the 17th ammendment. It will take to get rid of the 17th ammendment. Give some time and you will see the PPP & President Zardari will get ridof the 17th ammendment. No body gets more credit of removing Musharraf's uniform than Shaheed BiBi. Authority tends to corrupt & absolute authority corrupts absolutely. Musharraf when mounted the seat of the president destroyed Pakistan's Constitution and gave many authorities to the president which he thought would enable him to rule more smoothly. The same authorities whether just or unjust go with Zardari as the President of Pakistan. When corruption becomes part of authority, & a corrupt or rather criminal person like Zardari takes over President's seat who wants to lose these authorities.
