  • The classic Linup of Whitesnake is the one I love most. No Whitesnake for me without Micky Moody ;-)

  • @Thomas303FdN That's so true! Been saying that since 1984...

  • This sounds great. Saw Whitesnake last August and Coverdale's voice is just a memory. Could not hit any high notes and was actually lip syncing to some prerecorded stuff to hit some parts.Band was great but the vocals are long gone.

  • Now THIS is the real Whitesnake! Don't get me wrong I love the mid to late 1980s stuff too, but in the end it became too Americanised and lost the true heart and soul of the original UK outfit.

  • WOW! wish I would have seen that.

  • Where's David Coverdale? Oh, Eddie Large - sorry Bernie Marsden - ate him on the way to the gig!!!!! The next song was Donut Break My Heart Again :-)

  • @martinace1000 dont give up your day job as a jerk :-)

  • Steady on old chap, don’t get your spandex pants in a knot - I have it on good authority that Big Bernie ‘Inn’ Marsden (AKA Heather from Eastenders) himself chose the set list & the remaining songs were as follows; Frying in the rain Slow (Cooker) an’ easy Don’t bake my heart again Aint no pavlova in the heart of he city Roly man (Trousers) Getting tighter Aint gonna pie no more Love Muncher Beer I go again Fool for your oven. ;-)
  • EMI Studio's Abbey Road 2001

  • When was this?

  • Geil!!! Sorry but that's what Whitesnkae is...

  • this is the true heart of whitesnake. coverdale would not add anything to the mix. god rest cozzy powell RIP.

  • Do the hundred people in the audience even know who these guys are?

  • Where is this ????

  • God bless Lord!

  • Awesome ...

  • This is the only Whitesnake lineup worthy of high accolades. Of course I'd love to see Coverdale back at the helm but he's to busy makin big hair.....

  • I love it !! Very Groovy !

  • who are them?

  • @capalish91 Micky Moody- guitar, Bernie Marsden - guitar, Neil Murray - bass, Ian Paice - drums, Jon Lord - organ & Robert Hart - vocals.

  • so them live in 82 in holland with coverdale...best show

  • This is FAR FAR FAR more REAL Whitesnake than "Whitesnake" of 2011 ever will be.

  • by far the best WS line up...groovie and bluesy...

  • As Much as I love Whitesnake Ive wondered for a while, what happened to Whitesnake's original drummer?

  • @Firstcontact

David Dowle was replaced by Paice in July 1979. He went on to be in "Runner" with Alan Merrill, but he always stayed on good terms, and did sessions with, Whitesnake.

  • Great version! These guys never disappoint.

  • When in the hell did this happen? I don't remember this happening!!! Sucks getting old!

  • I always thought Robert Hart's voice had a touch of David Coverdale as well as Paul Rodgers, was this a one off ?

  • It's also nice to hear that even after all these years they can still perform a credible version of this classic tune.

Can't help feeling that Cov would have spoilt it with his current voice though.

  • Nice it's the original line up plus Bad Company's Robert Hart... Shame that David Coverdale wasn't invited here or refused to perform maybe (I don't know really...;) At least for a song or two it would make a nice feature...
