@MusicalCollections Yeah I really like torpedo's. I like throwing them near cover, under docks or under tree's and retrieve the speed enough to get a good sounding bubbling sound from the tail blade. I usually will start the retrieve after about 5 secs after it hits the water. Once started i start med speed and slow it down. It will work. Also remember to try and use color patterns of native smaller fish like the minnows and sunfish in your area.
@jurassicsushi Ok Thanks. I have a yellow and green one so if i go to the store ill buy a bluegill/sunfish looking one. and Rapala Jointed work really good. do u ever use those?
@MusicalCollections That Y / G one will remind them of a frog more than likely, but yeah getting that sunfish colored one would be a great idea. I have used them in the past but i am beginning to realized the name brands don't always make the difference its the presentation and color patterns that make the lures work. Definitely use both though. Only way to find out what they want. Let me know how you do. It's finally getting cooler out by me so hopefully i will get to go out and fish soon.
@jurassicsushi I have been fishing a lot but it's actually getting cooler by me too so i'm trying to get out as much as i can. and ya i totally agree with namebrands. i just pointed out who made it because it might narrow it down a little. i recetly had the best fishing day of my life. i casted out that jointed lure between some lily pads and something hit it right away. i set the hook and started reeling but it came off. then it hit again and when i finally got it in the boat it ended up being
@MusicalCollections (con't from my last one) it ended up being a 5 1/2 lb. bass. later that day i caught 4 lb. bass on the same lure. it was a great day.
@MusicalCollections Great Job man...Great Job! Did you get any photo's or Video after you landed it?
I so happy for you bro, Congrats!.
I am trying my hardest to set something up so i can go fishing, but it's looking grim. I will keep on trying though. Sounds like you truly had an awesome day on the water. Use that same technique with the Torpedo's, cause I have also caught them near lillies back in NY using the torpedo's.
@jurassicsushi thanks and no i didnt becuase we went to a lake where we only caught small bass or just pickerel. now everytime i go i bring a camera and a scale. we estimated that was the weight out of everyone that held it. i recently caught a really big pickerel out of there on a rooster tail so now its my favorite lake that we can go to.
@NGUdOlLoFf Each, not for them all..lol. Don't get me wrong, if you can afford some higher quality combo's that they sell at Bassproshops, by all means go for it. When you are on a budget you make do. Besides the Fish dont care if you are using a piece of wood and a napkin...if you present it right you will catch Something.
@hondarider9494 I have Noticed that in the past, Yellow and Green Spinner baits with a Black power worm on the hook has always been successful. Now i haven't had the chance to try that here in GA, but in NY it was always a winner. I also love my Top Water Torpedo's.
shoot me a message if your ever in the orlando area and we could go fishing in my boat , and YOU are more than welcome to bring a video camera to record what is caught . im just not the type fisherman who prefers to tote along a video camera with me while fishing , so i just take pics with my iphone so i can quickly get back in the game . if i can find some time i can make a slide show of the fish i catch .
no shimano calcutta's in there anywhere ? i see your not a bait casting type of guy . how often do you fish ? you got quite a tackle box there . i have been a fellow angler all my life and fish 3-4 times a week freshwater and about twice a month saltwater .
@911blasphemy Yeah i have been a spinning reel type a guy since i was a kid. Never really got into bait-casters because i primarily grew up Blue Claw crabbing and other salt water fishing like Blues, stripers, snappers, fluke flounder....You know...the common off the bridge or pier thing. It wasn't until later that i got into the fresh water stuff, but without a boat i am very limited on places to fish.
. those storm bait swimming lures are what all the fish here in orlando florida have been biting on this month in freshwater and even the trout in saltwater . as well as red chad worms with a frill tail and bright green speckled worms . and of course always on the intercoastal waterways , live shrimp , mullet , pinfish , crab or whatever you get in the casting net will do .caught about 25 bass last week and a 2 pound crappie also .
@911blasphemy You have got to get some video. Cameras are pretty inexpensive now a days. I would love to see some cast net videos of you getting shrimp and other stuff. I keep trying to get a buddy of mine to post up crabbing videos but he wont and its pissing me off. I'm sure you can ask a friend to tag along with you so you guys can get some good footage. Either way make a slideshow of your days catch and post that up. I make it possible for anyone to leave video responses so hop to it!
i dont have video but tons of pictures ...... cause you know how it is , if you dont have a pic its just a fish story . my tackle box is comparable to yours with mine having more saltwater accommodations and being a bag instead of a hard box . FISH ON and i wish you luck in your fishing endeavors .
@bassallyear19 Thank you very much. I appreciate that. I can't wait for it to cool down some so i can start using them, especially all the Bass Lures. I still have my Goal to reach. Thanks again for stopping by & don't forget to subscribe if you haven't. Take care.
@theskiesthelimit2 Hey how are you? Thanks for stopping by and checking out my video. To be truly honest I have been only living here for 4 & 1/2 yrs and i am still not that familiar with a lot of fishing spots.
I mean as far as where i go, I talk about the areas and what i think of them. Just some place you might want to consider is Lake Oconee & Lake Sinclair. I would definitely ask someone at a bait and tackle store that is a native of Georgia. Everyone seems to be super friendly.
@theskiesthelimit2 Hey, saw your comment, thought I would share my opinion. I live in North Fulton, so I am pretty close to you. I like to fish small ponds, they are loaded with fish that are not to picky about what they eat. Try smaller lures such as poppers, shallow crankbaits, and smaller spinnerbaits. Allatoona and Lanier are both near us, but if you do not have a boat, you are pretty much out of luck. Small ponds are your best bet.
@guy17ify Nope dont get it. The pole is Terrible. The pole from the 2nd to last eye snapped from the heat. It wasnt even touching anything. Just had it in the car and while i was getting something it just snapped as if someone snapped it. So maybe for the money its reasonable, but for another $15-$20 you can get a really nice Ugly stick combo. I would go towards that.
@guy17ify The tiger pole is AMAZING. It can cast out AT LEAST 50 yrds.... It is worth 20 bucks dude. You just have to lube the spool on the inside every month or two to keep it reeling in smooth. the reel is all plastic except for the reeling crank. It's an all-around good pole. The rod is durable. I've hit the ceiling fan many-a-time and the tip is still there. BUY THE SHAKESPEARE TIGER SPINNING KIT!!!!
@TheMegabigc I mean yeah for the money its worth it, thats why i originally bought it. As far as how long is it going to last(talking about the pole) who knows. Maybe mine was a defect.
Hey nice vid i was wondering what tackle box u would reccomend for me i 14 and have a good amount of supplies and i want a box that will last a long time(durable, cool looking) i want it to be around 50-80 dollars at the most..so thnks in advance!!
@HighT3chTaco Hey Thanks for checking out my video HighTech, Well lets see. I personally like my tackle box, but the only problem i have with it is that it gets very heavy once you start really filling it. What I would suggest is something just like mine the Plano 737 + a smaller Tackle bag that can hold maybe 3-4 of the storage containers. This way you dont necessarily need to bring the whole tackle box with you all the time. Plano really does make a great tackle box. See if they have the bags.
@goatkiller68 I actually do like it. It's heavy as hell once you start loading it up,but even with all that stuff in it I still have room for more. I would definitely suggest getting a smaller Tackle-bag so that you can isolate some things instead of lugging this beast around. There are times when I am like "Oh man and I still have to carry the tackle box" knowing how heavy it is. I do like it though. If you need a video of it with all the compartments let me know and i will make one for you.
@jurassicsushi thats ok. you dont have to make another video. i had the older version of this. im talking 1990's old. its such a good one and it is in good condition but i was thinking to update it. but then i realized they dont make things like they used too. The one i have has metal snaps and isnt too heavy
@goatkiller68 Well if you decide to change your mind just let me know its not any trouble at all. Thanks again for stopping by and checking out my video.
Really nice setup and for once comments arnt just trash talk...have to say I've got an Abu Garcia 7000c3i on med/hvy uglystick tiger 30# line can't beat it for anything try a baitcasting reel they are worth your time
@98Cumminspower24v I have only tried Bait-casters once, my problem is that i reel with my left hand so its weird for me. If i can reverse the handle i might reconsider. Thanks again btw for stopping by and watching my video.
I've seen so much ugly, trashy and absolutely worthless videos on youtube that are just just a waste of youtube space. It's refreshing to see an honest fisherman doing a clean, simple, and yet cool video that kids can watch too because of no filthy mouthing. This is one of the best videos I've seen in a long time. Thanks!
@skjoyner Well thank you very much. I am an Honest and Drama Free person. I can't say that I don't excited and drop some F'bombs occasionally when i am in the heat of the moment...If I do its unintentional. It's probably the New Yorker in me. So if you catch me slipping..Say something and I will make a bigger effort to at least try and Bleep out any curses or just refrain from them. My foul mouth sometimes can be a little bad. I do appreciate you stopping by and checking my video out. Take care.
@rcplane56 Ty and not much, I'll have to look into it though. Whenever you don't know much about a product type it in the search bar for YouTube...someone more than likely did a review on it. Thanks for subscribing and have fun fishing.
@jurassicsushi thnx :), well, the most used here is saltwater inshore fishing at the Mediterranean, or trolling and bottom fishing at the 'Red Sea' where the huge monsters are. For me, i use the american ways more than the common ones here, like fly fishing, popping, even for heavier catches and light tackle fishing for more sensitivity and an unforgettable fights :). we have also "Lake Nasser", a very popular place for the largest freshwater species in the world(nile perch, and massive catfish)
@astromicwm Man thats AWESOME! Hey I always allow Video Responses...Get some Fishing footage from where you fish and add it as a reply to one of my videos. That is so cool. Maybe one day I will get that opportunity to fish there. Thanks again and a New Video is up...Enjoy.
awesome video, some useful information on here...what do you go after with the 4 8 ugly stick? i just recently boughtt a 5 ugly stik, hoping to go after some crappie, bluegill, and trout with it. I'd also like to hook into some white bass but i'm afraid that it's too much of a light aciton rod to use for whites. what do you fish for with your ultra light action ugly stik? would you say it's all right to go after whites with an ultra light action rod?
@azurenscens I've actually caught a 3lb largemouth on it back in NY so i know even with the 4lb test it can hold it's own. It is actually perfect for Crappie,Bluegill and white bass because you are going to feel everything. I think the line choice is going to be your most finicky part. I would go with a braided maybe so you can get the 4lb diameter but the strength of 8-10lbs. I personally will fish for anything. I love Salt water and Freshwater fishing. Please share some videos of your fishing.
@azurenscens got a 5' 6" ugly stick that's great for crappie and bluegills. Bring a bigger stick for the Whites. They hit lures hard and fast and the flex on that ugly stick will not give you enough time to set the hook.
@jodynla Yeah i have to agree with you on that. I bring my buddies 6' or 7' ugly stick along just in case also.
Thanks again for checking out my video. I have other fishing videos and some comedy ...some random. Please feel free to check them out and subscribe if you like. - Take care.
@jodynla yeah, i've been missing quite a few hits on my ultra lite ugly stick from what i guess have been whites. i'll switch to my medium action rod next time. thanks for replying
@flurbsmcgurgs Thanks Bud' Sorry about the late reply, not getting all my notifications in the emails and youtube. Yeah you never know what people are using so i also figured this was a good way for folks to tell me what to use when i go fishing.
@flurbsmcgurgs lol - ummm Fish can't tell the difference whether its Walmart or hand made in your kitchen. It's all about presentation and whether or not you are getting it in the right spot where the fish are. Thanks anyway for watching my video.
@jurassicsushi cheers fucking yuppies have to spend as much money as they can. although i dont like to buy at wall mart i still go as cheep as i can and still have quality
@insulatedmemory Don't get me wrong, there are some things worth spending some extra cash for the Quality of the item, but for the most part the fish are going to bite what they want. Thanks for checking out my video Cheers and Happy Holidays.
wow nice equipment, i love those plastic lures, a few days ago i cought a 4 pound largemouth bass on a lime green crankbait (they work great for bass)
@VOVKARFRC Thanks for subbing. Take a picture or make a video of you fishing or catching fish and post it here as a reply. I have my videos to accept all Video responses. So have a blast. All us fishermen have to stick together.
you have really nice equipment..... top of the line rod and reels and good lures/worms. All the stought u need for Georgia bass and crappie, catfish carp
@DryPondFishing I'm hoping to catch some bass soon. I think I am going to set one pole up with a catfish rig & then all the other poles for Bass with different lures on.
Wish me Luck. Thanks again for checking out my video. Don't forget to subscribe.
@FishingThePNW Hey whats up bro' Yeah i have to agree on that. Up in NY i caught most of my bass on plastics or on spinnerbaits with a power bait worm trailer.
how much did you pay for the zebco? i run a zebco 33 on a big 7 foot ugly stick with 20lb test LOL even though the 33 is a small real they pack a punch! i catfish and they have no trouble reeling in any big ones ive caught 7 pounders and it held up well!!
@calbone1215 Man I bought it about 2 years ago...I think I spent somewhere around $40-50 bucks. Yeah I have had No issues with line breaks or anything like that. If anything i have had my hooks straightened. So you know something nice was on there.
Thanks for watching and please take the time to "Thumbs up the vid & Subscribe".Take care.

MusicalCollections 5 months ago
@MusicalCollections Yeah I really like torpedo's. I like throwing them near cover, under docks or under tree's and retrieve the speed enough to get a good sounding bubbling sound from the tail blade. I usually will start the retrieve after about 5 secs after it hits the water. Once started i start med speed and slow it down. It will work. Also remember to try and use color patterns of native smaller fish like the minnows and sunfish in your area.
They will hit it. The bait annoys them to strike.

Really nice setup and for once comments arnt just trash talk...have to say I've got an Abu Garcia 7000c3i on med/hvy uglystick tiger 30# line can't beat it for anything try a baitcasting reel they are worth your time
98Cumminspower24v 10 months ago
@98Cumminspower24v I have only tried Bait-casters once, my problem is that i reel with my left hand so its weird for me. If i can reverse the handle i might reconsider. Thanks again btw for stopping by and watching my video.

I've seen so much ugly, trashy and absolutely worthless videos on youtube that are just just a waste of youtube space. It's refreshing to see an honest fisherman doing a clean, simple, and yet cool video that kids can watch too because of no filthy mouthing. This is one of the best videos I've seen in a long time. Thanks!
skjoyner 10 months ago
@skjoyner Well thank you very much. I am an Honest and Drama Free person. I can't say that I don't excited and drop some F'bombs occasionally when i am in the heat of the moment...If I do its unintentional. It's probably the New Yorker in me. So if you catch me slipping..Say something and I will make a bigger effort to at least try and Bleep out any curses or just refrain from them. My foul mouth sometimes can be a little bad. I do appreciate you stopping by and checking my video out. Take care.

what do you know about the ugly stik pro? BTW great video.
rcplane56 10 months ago
@rcplane56 Ty and not much, I'll have to look into it though. Whenever you don't know much about a product type it in the search bar for YouTube...someone more than likely did a review on it. Thanks for subscribing and have fun fishing.

@cb7pwn Make sure you post a video link or a reply on what you think of it. Trial and error, thats the only way to tell if things are good.

nice gear,,,greeting from egypt
astromicwm 11 months ago
@astromicwm Thanks and that's really cool Egypt in the house!. What kind of fishing do you do over there. Please share with us all.
jurassicsushi 11 months ago
@jurassicsushi thnx :), well, the most used here is saltwater inshore fishing at the Mediterranean, or trolling and bottom fishing at the 'Red Sea' where the huge monsters are. For me, i use the american ways more than the common ones here, like fly fishing, popping, even for heavier catches and light tackle fishing for more sensitivity and an unforgettable fights :). we have also "Lake Nasser", a very popular place for the largest freshwater species in the world(nile perch, and massive catfish)
astromicwm 11 months ago
@astromicwm Man thats AWESOME! Hey I always allow Video Responses...Get some Fishing footage from where you fish and add it as a reply to one of my videos. That is so cool. Maybe one day I will get that opportunity to fish there. Thanks again and a New Video is up...Enjoy.

awesome video, some useful information on here...what do you go after with the 4 8 ugly stick? i just recently boughtt a 5 ugly stik, hoping to go after some crappie, bluegill, and trout with it. I'd also like to hook into some white bass but i'm afraid that it's too much of a light aciton rod to use for whites. what do you fish for with your ultra light action ugly stik? would you say it's all right to go after whites with an ultra light action rod?
azurenscens 1 year ago
@azurenscens I've actually caught a 3lb largemouth on it back in NY so i know even with the 4lb test it can hold it's own. It is actually perfect for Crappie,Bluegill and white bass because you are going to feel everything. I think the line choice is going to be your most finicky part. I would go with a braided maybe so you can get the 4lb diameter but the strength of 8-10lbs. I personally will fish for anything. I love Salt water and Freshwater fishing. Please share some videos of your fishing.
jurassicsushi 1 year ago
@azurenscens got a 5' 6" ugly stick that's great for crappie and bluegills. Bring a bigger stick for the Whites. They hit lures hard and fast and the flex on that ugly stick will not give you enough time to set the hook.
jodynla 11 months ago
@jodynla Yeah i have to agree with you on that. I bring my buddies 6' or 7' ugly stick along just in case also.
Thanks again for checking out my video. I have other fishing videos and some comedy ...some random. Please feel free to check them out and subscribe if you like. - Take care.
jurassicsushi 11 months ago
@jodynla yeah, i've been missing quite a few hits on my ultra lite ugly stick from what i guess have been whites. i'll switch to my medium action rod next time. thanks for replying

walmart spinner baits....psh.
flurbsmcgurgs 1 year ago
@flurbsmcgurgs lol - ummm Fish can't tell the difference whether its Walmart or hand made in your kitchen. It's all about presentation and whether or not you are getting it in the right spot where the fish are. Thanks anyway for watching my video.

@jurassicsushi cheers fucking yuppies have to spend as much money as they can. although i dont like to buy at wall mart i still go as cheep as i can and still have quality
insulatedmemory 1 year ago
@insulatedmemory Don't get me wrong, there are some things worth spending some extra cash for the Quality of the item, but for the most part the fish are going to bite what they want. Thanks for checking out my video Cheers and Happy Holidays.

a wide variety of soft plastics is a must for bass fishing :) i have the same digital scale, good stuff
FishingThePNW 1 year ago
@FishingThePNW Hey whats up bro' Yeah i have to agree on that. Up in NY i caught most of my bass on plastics or on spinnerbaits with a power bait worm trailer.

how much did you pay for the zebco? i run a zebco 33 on a big 7 foot ugly stick with 20lb test LOL even though the 33 is a small real they pack a punch! i catfish and they have no trouble reeling in any big ones ive caught 7 pounders and it held up well!!
calbone1215 1 year ago
@calbone1215 Man I bought it about 2 years ago...I think I spent somewhere around $40-50 bucks. Yeah I have had No issues with line breaks or anything like that. If anything i have had my hooks straightened. So you know something nice was on there.
Thanks for watching and please take the time to "Thumbs up the vid & Subscribe".Take care.
