I think this sport could go places,in Korea their making the next generation of walking robots,the clips are here on youtube,the point I'm making is improve on the robots & this sport might make m.m.a look tamed.

There rules that have to be followed and the walking robots Korea is making cost why to much to waste on a fight they would most likely lose at. It would be very costly and hard work to buld a walker with strong armor and weapon that could make the wieght limit. There only walking robot I've seen fight that is worth a damn is SoW and it was more of a shuffle then a walk.

look up "battlebot" on wikipedia, the term battlebot can be used to describe a robot used for combat. Kind of like how some people call tissues "kleenex" regardless of brand.

It's not only on wikipedia. I believe my analogy of the kleenex/tissue supports the statement. The term "battlebot" was also used on the show if you remember to describe the robots, thus making it an synonym for combat robot. "My battlebot's name is ziggo" for example.

It's called coke-a-cola. The word coke is a trademark of coke-a-cola company and can not be use on a product. The word battlebots(one word) is a trademark of battlebots inc and can't be used but when seperated into two words they can be used because the word battle is not a trade mark and the wrod bots is not a trademark.However you can print the word coke in order to communicate about the product since you can't copyright a word. There is a difference between copyrights and trademarks.

@sorarocks55 BattleBots is the name of a tv show that shows "battle bots." The difference is the name of the show has no space between the words. The bots themselves are still battle bots, regardless of whether they are on some crappy tv show, or at a university. Because there is a space between the words in the title of this video, they are perfectly justified in making it their title...dumbass.
