Today the death of Moko was reported in the New Zealand Herald. Pending formal identification. It is believed to be the body of Moko. If you had any interaction with Moko consider yourself very fortunate. It seems like that time has now passed and this national treasure has been taken from us. Truely a very special soul. May his journey in the afterlife be happy and peaceful.
I know that Moko loves humans but it is not good for him to be alone with us!! He needs to go with dolphins and befriend his own kind. It is hard to let go of him but he is going to be lonely if he has to keep waiting for us to join him for play. It's sad!!

this is a wonderful video. We had the pleasure of meeting moko in gisborne just a few weeks ago now. He is a national treasure.

Love your video! I met Moko 2 months ago: somebody told me about her when I was traveling in NZ and went looking for her, she's amazing...
All I want to do is go back and swim with her again :)
