I never did La Chorrera when I was flying with A.F. The boss was always scared about us doing it. He seemed to be protective, but all he cared and cares about are the airplanes. He still blames the pilot for destroying N902GD in a tragic accident in which he (the pilot) lost his life. What a shame!
Well, you haven't seen St. Barths approach then... it looks to me that here is a lot more space between the hill and the runway than it is at St. Barths rwy10 approach.
Funny you say that because I was trained to use this approach only with the correct wind conditions by a pilot for the local police. And this was a training event required by said police consultant.

I am aware about St. Bartths approach... Anyway doing the land thru "La Chorrera" in Culebra is dangerous !
