that's what happens to those greedy oil companies. all this years they kept raising the prices on fuel the whole year round. during winter they raised prices and blamed the weather, duriing hollidays they blamed the traffic, during summer they blamed the vacationing travelers, if there was a hurricane they used that too to raise prices. Karma is a bitch! unfortunately we are all going to pay because we all share blame for being big on consumerism.

We have to get at the root of the problem...making life all about money and power. Its all about how you educate children! Republicans Bush&Cheney(oil&coal men), cuased all of this by relaxing Federal Regulations,safety and operational, you know,less government, so private companies could rake in more profit. Now you have a coal and oil disaster. They even relaxed Federal Regulations on Meat inspections! So have a nice E-Coli burger for lunch.

I heard a little while ago, that the "dome" they lowered to try to fix the leak is freezing up and clogged up the hole that's supposed to let the oil get sucked up...
Hmm... what scientists are working on this? I'm pretty sure a 13 yr old knows that the deeper you go into the ocean the colder the water gets...

If we needed a new source of energy so bad (and we do), we'd have already found it. We haven't because rich people, who earn on oil, would lose money.
