  • When you get to the last 3 lines of the music, you dont play the D with finger 1. You play it with fingers 4,3,2, then 1. Besides that, it was cool;)

  • Have your piano tuned and voiced and you would sound 10 times better.

  • ok playing. Not much notice paid to the dynamics though. All sounds the same volume more or less

  • @lollipopngummybear13 now you know why nobody likes band people because the obsess over the smallest bit of mistakes and spend there lives criticizing people over things they work really hard to do

  • @huntpriest don't take it the wrong way. i'm just saying because when it comes to piano i can be a little bit of a perfectionist and i learned that song the way i described the mistakes. i do understand because that song takes a while to get used to due to getting the speed up and all the dynamics

  • I do have to say that Sonatina is rushed and it was definitely lacking dynamics. On the scales that were going down, the highest note should've been a fortissimo and there should've been a noticeable decrescendo within each note of that scale when it was going down. On the ending there should've been a crescendo from the beginning of the repeated notes and the final note should've ended on a fortissimo

  • @lollipopngummybear13 Well I have the sheet music and there is no Diminuendo on it, you can choose to add that if you want but it doesn't need to be there,

  • @Shikagaminomai i have the sheet music as well. i just learned it that way so i'm describing how i learned it and i think that it adds more to the song and makes it dynamicful (i like dynamics, but i hate learning them). i know how hard it is to learn that song though

  • za szybko kurwa to zagrane jest !!!!

  • Very well played but the emotion is lacking. I was looking at videos to see the different ways in which people may play it. And slow down! its very rushed. otherwise good job :)

  • this is what i played for my recital. i was a LOT slower than this. lol.

  • you keep change the tempo, you going too fast, but it was well played.

  • A little too fast otherwise very nice :)

  • fingering is off, no staccato, I wasn't aware there was pedal in this song? Please let go of the pedal lol I think you only need it once for like 5 seconds? mmm watch tempo, other than that well played :)

  • Thank you for taking the trouble to record this and upload it. It's been very helpful to me as I am learning this piece. You play it beautifully.

  • I used to play this song when I was little, it was my favorite song to play, sadly I don't play anymore

  • its beautifull

  • wtf is an august forster piano? o_O

  • LOVE the second movement, I am playing this piece and am having a hard time getting the melody, now to try it again. :)

  • i love playing this piece. very peaceful. You did a lovely job!

  • my version dosent have a ritardando at the end on the 1st mvmt....

  • i am going to play this song in a compettition !

  • I just played this piece at a contest and got really great score. I love it, it's very pretty!

  • crud i have to play this for cm

  • I'm learning this for the violin, i can't seem to find a violin performance of it though. so this is what i listen to.

  • i could play this song almost as good as they can

  • For those that noticed that huge pencil, did you also notice how it changed color after 1:37 or so when he went to the second movement?

  • is it your book suzuki?

  • @ThePaulaJackson yes it is.. I have the same it's suzuki 2 :D

  • that pencil is huge.

  • wow!

  • beautiful peace!! your a great example of that:)

  • leaarning it right now, im actually having extreme difficulty, i have no idea what happened to me this month, i think my piano teacher pushed me too hard

  • learning this now, you're lovely!

  • Did anyone notice the 16 inch pencil on the piano? Nice playing, I am learning this piece now, soon to be in a piano recital.

  • @zigZag776 there is very little emotion portraid, lift your hands for pitty sake

  • @zigZag776 That 16 inch pencil is for hitting the students on the fingers when they play wrong notes.

  • You play it wrong - look at the first line, left hand: first accord, first note, play and leave; then, next accord, now the first note of the accord stays and so on.

This is very important, because Beethoven only writes this sonatina for his piano lessons! So, it is a simply technique variation!

  • this critic is addressed to the Romanza.

  • GAH i have to learn the first one (Sonatina in G Major 1) for piano class and i learned most of it so far but it sounds so weird when you play it slow...you know what that means right? I GOTTA LEARN IT FAST NOW D: xD

  • Hey, I'm playing this Sonatina right now!

  • Well played as far as notes go, but I think it needs more dynamics and expression. Only the last two lines should really have any pedaling in Moderato, and for Romanza I would use only top pedaling, if any. And someone else mentioned this, but I recommend you use bumbling on the three consecutive Ds in Romanza to get staccato more easily, since it's a little harder to do that with just 5.

  • This is not very well done, considering the required level of skill for the song. This is for a beginner of maybe half a year, or a year at most, and you didn't even add in the dynamics. There were few to no staccatos...at all. It was well done for the most part, but the massive lack of staccatos bothers me very much.

To speak bluntly, fuck this goddamn song.

  • @brewerbumsen Actually most people don't begin learning this piece until 2 years into formal lessons

  • Im working on this piece u r awesome way better than me :)

  • I just played this piece for my piano recital. I have only been taking piano for 2 years, and the only music background I have is band. But when my piano teacher handed me this piece I said I could never do it. It was perfect in my mind.

  • this is the BEST piano piece ever, i play it all the time

  • this sucks so much!

  • Where is the soud for this video??

  • That is great but add more expression and follow the dinamics a little more and that would be perfect and also don't add the pedal you can tell it makes it longer then it intentually is.

  • BRAVO!!! BRAVISSIMO!

  • super

  • THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING THIS! I needed an example of how to play this song. And yours is GREAT!

  • awesome piece defineitly what i call a song ang a great video!!!!!!!!!!:) great job!

  • Im going to play this song next on the piano! It is a wonderful, beautiful piece!

  • It's good. You play really well but I agree with the comment below. Now you can work on adding expression, the crescendo's and decresendo's and things of that nature. But keep up the good work.

  • You are really good. Not any mistakes :) you could just put like more nuances and don't forget piano is not a mechanic instrument.

Altought it was really really good.

    Good continuation!

  • wow , very well played!!

And also a lot of feeling in it...I like it!!

  • Those three D's during the Romance should be played with 5-4-5, not all 5. I'm just saying. Other than that, you play it VERY MUCH like I do. It's like - you have my hands! weird.

  • 5-4-5, why does someone want to do that? Just wondering...

  • Grossartig.!

Spiele das Stück auch gerade und mir persönlich gefällt es auch sehr gut :-)

  • That was really good! Did anyone else notice that the color of the pencil changed between the 1st&2nd movement?

  • YES. It was yellow, now it's pink.

  • ino lol FUNNY!

  • haha thats really funny actually

  • sehr sehr schön frau musiklehrerin überhaupt gefällt mir alles was sie so ins netz stellen ,auch von ihren schülern.meine tochter u ich sind grosse fans von ihnen.

  • nice! I'm doing the moderato part for my grade 2 exams. this is the only version I've heard on youtube which I actually like.

  • you play exactly the same way as the person did in my CD

  • Never new anyone would make a CD out of this hmmm. Are you sure it was the same peace?

  • I think they mean the CD's that comes with music books which help you when practicing :)

  • @Pianostudio piece*

  • It's easy !!

  • i used my sisters acount... sorry

  • i started playing piano, five months ago, and i already play this....

thanks to the awesome teacher i have... she's from Armenia.. (i'm mexican, i don't really know if you use the same name... o well,) so, i'm not learning american school...

    XD

IM REALLY SORRY, english isn't my first language, sorry if i have errors...

  • You play "moderato" the same way as "allegretto".

  • second part is an romance not a dance

  • tempo should be moderato not allegretto to allegro

  • It says moderato and the allegretto in my book :\

  • yes, for the first movement!

A Romance nothing should be played like her, it's nice technique, i don't wnt to say its bab, but i think the interpretation of beethovens soul isn't teh right at these place and in these form

  • just starting to play this one now!

  • is she using the pedal?

    Beethoven had no pedal, yo!

  • Ermm... patmon, beethoven did have a pedal. Moonlight Sonata's first movement uses it all throughout; and his 17th Sonata uses it variously in its first movement; and my book of Beethoven Sonatas states that all pedal marking were writting by the composer

  • well it sounds better without

  • I'll give you that, yes; but don't make sweeping statements before finding out the facts.

  • Im grade 2 and im learning it :D

  • Same, but that was a while ago. I guess its too late for me to show off now. :)

  • lol.

  • how long you being playing I've been taking calsses for 8months and im learning this song with gitanerias by lecouna this is easy for me but but i just a little problem with the finger numbers

  • @THELIRIKALTANK I've been playing for 2 and a half years XD

  • im in 5th grade and im still learning it. Almost done with the first movement. if i finish the rest of the book i get a psp! lol

  • and after you get the psp, that's it for the piano:))..and you can't deny this truth because you know it, and because if you did deny it, you would only fool yourself:))lol

  • grade 5 i still remember it :-D

  • Thanks a lot, my gril follow your paly as a guidline.

    you play so great.~

  • Awsome piece! & awsome player!!!!!!! XDXD I like learnt piano since I was 5 and I'm not even close to this level!!! And guess wat, I'm 12 already! This is another comment from louvonly's little sister, I used my sister's account! XD

  • Haha u wont believe wat i'll say. I'm 12, tryin to play tis piece as well! But, in the end, I got my fingers tied up into knots! XD

  • Thanks for posting this! I'm trying to learn how to play it today, and I've got the first movement down packed, but I need to speed it up a bit.

I like when it switches to waltz in the middle. ^^ You did that well. I don't know why, but I like it when it's slow.

  • nicely done, but a little too heavy on the petal imo. i can also play this piece, but not nearly as well.

  • Thanks for the video - it helps to have an example for my son who is learning this piece.

  • Beautifully played and very pleasing to the ear.... you are truly a dedicated pianist.

  • All I have to say is that if I heard this coming from the other room I'd say to myself, "God, that's beautiful."

  • very nice, but i think that it could be more expressive =)

  • she has a watch on !!!!!!!!!

  • and. It really doesnt matter yno

  • very hard peice, but performed well

  • very good interpretation, but in the first movement many fingering errors.

  • good job im playing this now

  • super

  • nice version. i can play it well but not the well

  • great one :D I remeber playing this piece during lessons in music school on keyboard :)

  • its good.

  • A little plain.

  • yes... this kind of music is not so easy to perform... either the performance sounds plain or overdone...

  • Bravo!!!

  • Bravo! Beethoven lives! ... Thomaslav
