I liked this game, albeit nothing like '91, it's a cute game with an awesome music score. Silver's story killed me at the end, Shadow's was awesome, and Sonic's was smooth and simple. The characters had overrealistic movements, but I got over it. And Sonic '91 did initially have Sonic in love with a prostitude-esque human girl before being edited out. If SEGA had kept that Idea, I think a lot of us would like this one better.
Akon successfully managed to suck all the epicness and emotion out of this song. This remix is just a hollow shell of what was originally a great song.
i only hated the fact that blaze died and no one cared except for silver. then again he got over it.... a little too soon. she should have been mentioned before or after fighting solaris. also why didn't she say something when she remembered sonic from "SONIC RUSH"? anyway, all i'm saying is, her sacrifice doesn't deserve to be so easily forgotten, and niether does she. why couldn't she be revived or something. no main sonic character has ever died to never return. i won't forget you blaze! bye!

Since Rush is set in a parallel dimension there are two Blazes. Also since Iblis never existed the Blaze from 06 is living a happy life in the future with Silver. She appeared alongside him in the DS version of Sonic Colors.

About 06: It's not that the story was BAD, it was just looked down upon by a majority of the community. but the main issue is how rushed it was, ever stage I would encounter a game breaking bug or 2. and it got quite repetitive.
i'd say Silver and mainly Shadow had decent stories. Sonic's was horrible . since the game is called "Sonic the hedgehog" i suppose a large part of the community end up paying too much attention to sonic's portion and just decide to call the story bad as a whole (even though Sonic is compltely irrelevant to the story until the final part of the game.)

If you lower your expectations about a few things from other people's perspectives, you appreciate the game more. I honestly think that I would've loved it anyways. The camera wasn't that bad for me, it was just a few cutscene graphics, but not all of them. I think that they could have at least lip synced it better. Besides that, I just can't complain about the game.

This version of Sweet Dreams is totally better than the original, Miwa Yoshida's vocal is so better in this version, and Akon doesn't participate that much.
Okay, what was wrong with 06? Why's everyone saying it's the worst 3D Sonic? I've been playing Sonic games since Genesis and Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast was great cause it broke from the 'level 1', 'level 2', 'level 3', thing. Every 3D game after that just stunk! Sonic 06 finally got back to that Sonic Adventure feeling!
The only thing that was bad about the game was the glitches. You have to admit there were a lot of them that were unavoidable. But this is because Sonic Team got rushed and they had never made a next gen game before. So the odds were against them, they got stressed out, and thus the game was incomplete.
But they did work really hard on it. They just got screwed over.
I heard that some people fell off loops and I dismissed that as their own inexperience (not running fast enough or up by the wrong angle). Some enemies actually do hurt you if you use homing attack on them and as for the wall thing I never even heard of it.

Sonic's levels are kinda difficult. I liked Shadow's and Silver's best. The levels where you got to play as Rouge, Knuckles, and Blaze were great too. I'm glad they brought back Tails as a playable character but he was nowhere as good as he was in SA.

When you look past the horrible load times, camera, controls, glitches, adventure map, occasionally unfinished levels, and the incredibly awkward hedgehog/human love thing... there is a RIDICULOUSLY awesome game. There is no worse feeling than knowing that something could have been better. This game, I think, still has potential if Sega would go back and fix it up, polish it up, and then re-release it.

They should have delayed this game for about another year or two. If they had, Sonic Team would have had time to iron out the many, many bugs, make the adventure fields more interesting, fix the camera, and hopefully realize that their plot f**king sucked.

i never understanded how akon of all people got the chance to make music for a sonic based game. i mean sure micheal jackson made the music for sonic the hedgehog 3, but that actually sounded like a sonic based song. this song sounds nothing related to sonic games

This version of Sweet Dreams is totally better than the original, Miwa Yoshida's vocal is so better in this version, and Akon doesn't participate that much.

Okay, what was wrong with 06? Why's everyone saying it's the worst 3D Sonic? I've been playing Sonic games since Genesis and Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast was great cause it broke from the 'level 1', 'level 2', 'level 3', thing. Every 3D game after that just stunk! Sonic 06 finally got back to that Sonic Adventure feeling!

The only thing that was bad about the game was the glitches. You have to admit there were a lot of them that were unavoidable. But this is because Sonic Team got rushed and they had never made a next gen game before. So the odds were against them, they got stressed out, and thus the game was incomplete.
But they did work really hard on it. They just got screwed over.

-run into a wall and get stuck there
-do a homing attack on an enemy and get hurt when the enemy didn't attack first

Hm...no, I don't think so.
I heard that some people fell off loops and I dismissed that as their own inexperience (not running fast enough or up by the wrong angle). Some enemies actually do hurt you if you use homing attack on them and as for the wall thing I never even heard of it.

Sonic's levels are kinda difficult. I liked Shadow's and Silver's best. The levels where you got to play as Rouge, Knuckles, and Blaze were great too. I'm glad they brought back Tails as a playable character but he was nowhere as good as he was in SA.

When you look past the horrible load times, camera, controls, glitches, adventure map, occasionally unfinished levels, and the incredibly awkward hedgehog/human love thing... there is a RIDICULOUSLY awesome game. There is no worse feeling than knowing that something could have been better. This game, I think, still has potential if Sega would go back and fix it up, polish it up, and then re-release it.

Yeah, I played it all the way through, and I find nothing wrong with it--aside from the glitches, loading times, Sonic's limited speed, and Silver's nigh-impossible desert stage, I like it!
