Actaully I remeber in about september last year i was listening to our classic rock radio station doing their 40th aniversity to Floyd and they had interviews with gilmour saying that it was possible that a reuion tour might be in the makeing but it was "inner rumours amongst the others" as David put it ( i guess he was refering to the other members) . but sadly Rick passed : ( and david has said that he will no longer be able to perform certain pecies of work with out him
i am a die hard floyd fan, Gilmour Has Made it clear that he will never perform with waters again, live 8 was less than a reunion as waters kept on thinking he was the band in rehearsals. Things didnt go as well as people may have thought. To Be honest, i dont blame gilmour, hes done just fine without waters, but i did really like the way you put this teaser together. Nice job! *****

You post a video entitled "Pink Floyd 2009" at the end of 2007. It says "This summer" at the very beginning, seemingly in reference to the summer of 2008. Richard Wright dies (RIP) in fall of 2008, and you still keep and defend the video.
Also, I don't believe 2 people ever "cast themselves off" of Floyd. Waters was the only one that left (not including Barret). Gilmour, Wright, and Mason were all there for Division Bell (their final studio album).
Despite the inconsistency with the video title, which I admit is misleading, I hold firm that David cast himself off from Floyd, especially due to the fact that he said he never saw himself playing with Pink Floyd again, and he still holds that belief as seen in nearly every interview he gives.
Regardless, the video was made before his death, and references to a time before his death. It's not like we made the video last week.
David Gilmour and Polly Samson had FOUR MORE CHILDREN since the last PF tour and after having the fourth child, he decided to be a full time father. Plus when manager Steve O'Rourke died, that was more reason to end PF. Rick's death ends it all. Parenthood changes things for some (especially having more kids late in life like he and Phil Collins did and he is now retired from music for good to be a full time dad to his two young sons).

There's no way they'll reform. Especially since Rick passed away. David has already said he'll never play Echoes live again because there's no Richard Wright to play THOSE sounds. There were rumours of a new Floyd album (minus Roger) a couple of years back but again, no Richard!!! Just deal with it. David and Roger have their own solo bands that are fantastic. That's all you're getting. Quit with the bullshit of reforming! It's a tad boring!!

If you don't like it, don't watch it. This goes not just to you, but to all the morons posting and complaining that Rick is dead. Trust me, I know. I implore you to check the date the video was posted, which happens to be almost a year BEFORE Rick died. No, this was never official, nor was there even a hint of it being real. It's just a video. One beautifully put together by a friend of mine, and one who loves Floyd like the rest of us.

sorry guys, live 8 was the reunion... ricks dead, david is happy with his solo career, nick doesn't practice as he admitted it in a recent interview and roger is too controlling to get along with the anyone... i would bet money that the 3 remaining floyd members wouldn't even get together for a tribute to rick.

i've been a WHO fan 1979 when i saw the kids are alright I was 7 then.I got my first WHO tickets 2 hours before The OX died.I was crushed about his death & I thought 4 sure the tour was finished!They played on & I knew it wouldn't be the same without John & it wasn
't but it was the best show i had ever seen! It was very emotional&they JAMMED for almost 3Hours so,a floyd tour wouldn't be the same without Rick but it'd be the best thing I could ever witness in my life!!!!
