YES Polington got it right Phil has gone through this WHOLE game without noticing the main mechanic of nfs games which is drafting. And no i'm not a NFS fanboy but i clearly saw a hint about drafting in multiple videos of his. Phil is such a dumbass sometimes

@Shadowblade818 drafting on this version was an unlockable bonus due to exprience.He didn't have it in the begining.and the game is made in such a way that apperently you really don't need to draft as much to beat the races.

Yea there area few tactics to use when playing NFS. Because of this AI, you can either beat them once and win. Meaning pacing yourself and beating her at the last mile or so maybe last 0.5 mile. Or, constantly beat her only for her to get back to first, then pace it so that you beat her again at the end. Best if you beat her once at the end by drafting.

Believe it or not I actually fell asleep while playing ProStreet, I gave it a second chance and bought Undercover... I fell asleep while playing that too. Haven't bought an NFS game since. They've all been pretty shockingly bad and gimmicky since Most Wanted.

This is what I gathered:

- Random traffic AI is shit.

- Opponents randomly teleport or have huge speed boosts, if you're winning.

- Bad Retry system that doesn't use checkpoints properly.

- Last second wins don't count.

- Cutscenes interupt gameplay causing frustrating loses.

- Shitty invisible hit boxes in the road.

- Copied and Pasted Levels, cheapness...

- Speed boosts on collision, doesn't make sense...

Definitly glad I stuck to buying MW3, BF3 or Skyrim over this piece of shit.

Rubberband AI has been in every racing game since forever and ever. And yeah, it's complete bullshit. I hate racing games where you fully upgrade the best car and some chump in a 86' Civic beats you because the game thinks its "challenging". I'm looking at you Midnight Club and Need for Speed!

@21jakeable The 350z has better handling while turning than the Lamborghini, and since this track has a lot of curves and sharp turns, the Nissan can get ahead. The Lambo's greater speed is not useful on this track because there aren't a lot of straight-ways to get up to full speed and outpace the 350z.

@21jakeable No offense but that's a very "north american" and uneducated stance on racing. A station wagon could be a lambo if tuned correctly and on the right course. Not that a racing game has any baring on real life but did you notice phils extremely bad turning and late braking into turns? Thats why he lost the race, and yes the computer cheats, they do in most modern racing games.

A lambo SHOULD win on an uphill like this. on a down hill with turns though, it'd lose to the 350z.
