  • I did this play a month ago and sang this song too! I'm sorry, but I think I did a much better job than this. I mean I could sing the song up the octave in some points like this but it sounded better just singing it down the octave the whole way thorough. They should have done that, still it's a middle school so what can you expect?

  • Hey, I go to that school

  • Grease Shouldn't Be Touched By Ammetures, No One Can Beat The Originals Or Even The Professional Casts

  • YouTube shouldn't be touched by people who can't spell "amateur". :P

  • No No Seriously Though...I'm A Peformer Myself And I'm Way Too Scared Of Doing A Youth Cast Version Of Grease Purely Because I Know It Doesn't Have The Same Sparkle To It As Would The Professionals And Movie Cast Have

  • Of course it wouldn't be as good as the professionals and movie cast! In other news, my 1 dollar sunglasses from the dollar store are worse than the $100 ones at a high end store.

  • Then Why Bother If You Know That Your Ruining A Good Show...I Can Give You Good Credit For The Harmonies

  • For the benefit of youth education. Don't give the credit to me, lol.

  • I have just done it, and we were told we were just as good as the west end =](were a performing arts school) but that doesnt matter

  • that comment was for the guy that said a school cant do it as good as professionals!

  • @lukebell27 Video or it didn't happen.

  • my school is doind the production and it saounds WAY better.... but they did ok

  • doing**

  • did he really just drop an octave 4 lines into the song???

  • you should all give up on life

  • i was in the produntion too !!!!!!!! ; [

  • O, really?

  • yea

  • just to show you the generation gap in music is unreal.kids could not sing this music if there Life depended on it.

  • not true... once my school does it youll see, there are actually alot of talented middleschool kids... im actually playin kenickie and have to sing greased lighting... and my friend whos playing rizzo in my opinion sings better then stockard channing did in the movie.

  • look middle school kids have no buisness doing this play.I dont care how much talent you have.these songs were created in a time long gone and will never be duplicated by the newer generation.they were sung by people who gave there heart and soul to that song.that no longer exists in music today.prove me wrong thats all I can say.there is a big difference in kinikee singing and johnny singing.theres just no comparison.leave magic changes out of the play you just cant pull it off.

  • alright well think what you want, all i know is that the girl who plays rizzo in my play, and the girl who play marty and simply amazing, i love their voices

  • wow. if the play can't be "duplicated" by the newer generation than what should we do? let the play go down in history, never to be done again? jeez, just because you don't think middle school kids can't sing, doesn't mean it's WRONG for them to try. this is a middle school play, it's not like they made this specific production into a movie. if people are doing what they love to do, they should get the chance. who the hell are you to judge them? how do you know their heart & soul wasn't in it?

  • I am not judging anyone.a fact is a fact.the rescent broadway production of this movie got low ratings.what I am saying is that middleschool kids this play is over there heads.if adults cant pull it off how will children.its a mockery of how awesome this music is.

  • wow dude u probably know nothing about music or the older generation because if u did ud understand that its not about who sings good or who sings better or how old u r its abut the music and having fun with it and doing ur best at it. Im not in middle school but i bet some of those kids have much more talent than u think they do so. show tunes arent my favorite music though i would have 2 say but still dont judge kids like that.

  • hey im in middle school too dont Stereotype us!!! Besides almost all kids sound wayyy worse on a camera than they to in real life

  • haha. great job nickk=D i miss grease.=[

  • u killed the part the song everything! u stink! and u should have started singing it in the right key and not change that sounds like crap but it is only middle school so i give u mad props

  • Hey, I ain't the one singing! ;-)

  • ahahaha wow from here it actually looks like hes actually playing guitar

  • Yeah, it kinda does. Some places are really obvioius though
