It's amazing how an infomercial can give me chills. I grew up with this stuff, and I love it more today than I did back then. Probably because I know the bullshit out there today, and it just makes me appreciate how lucky I was to grow up at such a great time.

I remember when all this music came out. World peace was essentially achieved. The east and west had grown up together despite the cold war and now had kids of their own becoming best friends. Then someone uptight got the bright idea of hey, lets put all the babies on prozac or ritalin. I watched this on TV last night. These songs take me back to my childhood, which I miss. I remember the songs mainly from 1984 on. I like the earlier songs too for being classic. I love the TimeLife music collection infomercials -- samples and video clips of a lot of songs.

EVERYTHING was better in the 80's than it is today. Music, Tv, and Movies were all AWESOME! And even if they sucked, at least they tried different things, and were creative. Today it's all rehashed, fabricated, remade, horseshit. Televison shows SUCK! Movies are the worst they've ever been. And barely any TV channels play movies anymore. Give me the 80's anyday!
