You should just save your money and buy two brand name Rubik's Cubes to do this. If you use two crappy cubes, it won't turn really well.

There's 2 different type of siamese cube. 1 the original version, when you glue a cube -1 row to a whole cube. Type 2 the modified version, the on that u made.

if you dont have epoxy, you can sand down the parts getting glued, and then use superglue

Guys superglue works fine! :D ive made this mod from watching this video from a year ago. and the greatest thing about superglue; if u get tired of the mod, soak the glued cubies in nail polish remover or acetone, for about an hour, and then wedge the pieceson the corner of a table and pull until it rips off :D i used krazy glue

@gokabo7 don't use gorilla glue!!!! the glue expands and can mess up your cube. use what i did, super glue. if you use alot it will hold the cubes to gether well

hey thrawst, it would be also better if before you glue it, you sandpaper or like rough up the pastic where the glue will be placed cause two things will stick together stronger cause sandpapering it increases the surface area

hey you were saying that it keeps on breaking. there is something called JB weld. you can find it in any auto part store. alot of auto techs use it to bond anything plastic and holds very well. i would go and try to pick yourself some of that up.

I made a siamese 3x3x3 (using a 1x1x3 common overlap), sll that was required was to make two double corners, and one double edge. I made them by cutting two of the same pieces in half, connecting the two joint sides, and discarding the other halves.

i made a straight horizontal halfway cut, it was much easier than making diagonal cuts.. and the way my cube was built, it was more sturdy this way too.
