  • Um...graveyards rarely if ever mention any "how or why." Childhood used to be a lot deadlier than it is now. Cemeteries have "Babyland" sections. And you're talking about a period of time when there was a flu epidemic, as well as numerous other childhood diseases that would strike down very young children in particular.

In short, nothing weird; just the way things were.

    Also, you should read more.

  • Maybe a killer? THey seem to be 2 years old a lot and maybe there WAS something going on. Back then there prolly wanst that great of a justice system.

  • Most cemeteries have a baby section...

  • Many children in that time frame died of pneumonia also, and it was not usual to lose 2 children in one family, they just didn't have the technology or resources back then, how very sad. Why don't you follow up with the grounds-keeper or records dept. and see if you can find out what happened? It would be a very interesting followup story.

  • could have been victims of marunchesen ( idk how to spell it) that "disease" parents have where they kill their children for attention or some stupid excuse like they didnt want them, they didnt bond with them the mother could have had post partem depression all kinds of theories such as the coment below, sickness, epidemics

  • There's no proof they were all brothers and sisters, they could be from an extended family and all probably died from natural causes.

  • thats awful poor babys

  • whoa, cool

  • weird
