don't understand why people say beethoven's music is more emotional than mozart's, anyone who listen's to this have to agree they are at least equal or more emotional. only mozart's music can make me shed a tear no matter how many times i listen to it.
incredibile!! quante cose mi muove dentro questa musica che è perfetta. Mozart, grazie di tutto quello che hai fatto e fai quando qualcuna ascolta una tua magica creazione
im 15 and my generation has the crappiest music ever. listening to this is like watching a never ending sunset; it just fills me up with so much emotion I can't even describe it. I wish music like this could be appreciated so much more by people today...
"L'acte IV fut étourdissant. [...] J'entendis la musique de la vraie réconciliation emplir le théâtre, abordant à chacun de ceux qui étaient là une parfaite absolution. Dieu chantait à travers ce petit homme le chant du monde irrépressible." Amadeus.
Maybe Mozart's music is not as complicated created as Bachs or others, but this part here proofes, that he is truly the greatest composer the world has ever seen.
There is Mozart. Then there is everyone else. Beethoven Who? Mozart, the master at every genre of music of his time and died at 35. What more proof does anyone need? The beauty. The Genius is right in front of you.
Here, to start listening and to start to cry is the very same thing... This is the real forgiveness we all hope to find after death. Thanks Mozart, my devoted friend.
@49bobbyk Hi. I know. When I was 11, I was introduced to Mozart through the movie Amadeus. From that point on, I've always had a profound love for opera and classical music in general. Mozart is a great way to introduce anyone to opera. His music is always great and - to this day - remains as my favorite composer 26 years later. His music has such depth, color and character; and one can always feel the emotions. It's simply astounding and makes the heart stir!!! Happy Holidays! > :-)
@TheSupernova247 ..I have a similar story. I have a deeper understanding of Mozart probably greater then most classical enthusiasts and it started with the Movie Amadeus. Beethoven admired Mozart. Mozart has a masterpiece in every genre of music..Thats good enough for me to say he was the best.
@abcdefghijcatsrule sure!
if there's a god in heaven, i hope he give Mozart the opportunity to see, how his music deeply moves and impress people and how grateful people are for his genius. Come on old man: let him see.
To think in the context of forgiveness that poor Salieri has been ostracised literally for CENTURIES for the alleged poisoning that never took place...
the more i listen to mozart the more i am sure their we never be his equal he had a gift that come from i cannot say his work move me in ways out work do-not ,i still love listeing to handel . . . .
May God make every performance of Figaro this beautiful so that the world will know how perfectly it was written. Bravo maestro Gardner and director Mille. And Bravo to the most appropriate cast ever assembled.
Every time I listen to this my heart beats a lot faster. I pray God to have this feeling of sweatness and... (something I can't describe) even only for once in my life.
there are only a handful of people in the world and in history who can tell a story through music alone, and Mozart is one of those people. I myself do not know Italian, but I can follow the story just as well as if I had been speaking the language all my life.
I can't speak for mozart but Ibelieve this to be the better of the two. It doesn't want to be rushed. with it slower you can enjoy every single much more to it's full value. Hear the piece in it's full beauty as it should be heard.
Utterly enchanting.....but then that's stating the obvious. thanks

Mozart the Humanist, he composed The Final Aria of Le Nozze Di Figaro about The Forgiveness and as A.Pope said :"To err is human, to forgive divine."
Mozart was definitly the voice of God.

Great performance, wunderful piece of music and culture. Love to listen to it.
Too bad the whole play is 3,5h long which makes it very, very difficult to the untrained ear to listen. I can't focus that long.
I guess i know why Mozart saved this cherry as the operas finale.

It is released on DVD (DG). Just search the web (shopping) for Mozart and Gardiner.
Gardiner has also a stunning performance of Così fan tutte. A feast for both ears and eyes, luckily also released on DVD.
Best wishes!
