  • you cant do it on clear guns can you?

  • It wood look very odd.

Buy some flat black spray paint and spray paint your clear airsoft gun with that. Wait for it to dry. Then dry brush it with silver.

  • yo dude thats dope it looks like the gun is really made of metal and the paints is wearing off in parts great job.

  • looks good, i like it. customizing airsoft guns is fun when it turns out good. and i thought it was funny when you said stroke your gun...

  • did that to my M249 a while ago, along with some real scratches and rust. Looks badass. I also made a worn job on the plastic parts. But man you did way too much of it on that M4... and even on parts that should be plastic.

And by the way, the ''gun metal'' paint gives a more realistic look.

  • yo thats the spring 226 rite? if so do u know where i can get some spare mags for it cuz i have this gun and i cant really fight than reload after like 20 seconds...

  • yes it is but im sorry i don't know

  • @EdgelessFire umm whaty me and my freinds do is play one in the chambre or my fav one mag on life but i can send u a vid to make extend mags with out reking our touching your mag if you want this to be done message me or somthing

  • what type of paint is that?

  • shouldnt have done it on the handguard on your m4cqb

  • boo

  • This is exactly what I needed, thanks!

  • looks super bad ass bro

  • sweet

  • you do a lot with your broken m4 dont you

  • i like how the pistol came out i think u went just a lil to heavy on the m4

  • check out mine i did mien the right way its for sell too an m4

  • Hey whats up shadow99. Great effect! It looks like a real gun. the way that the silver/grey looks. it looks like metal. I love it.

  • The M4 looks sick but it looks like its from a videogame

  • yea, kinda reminds me of the ones from Resd. Evil 4 and Maz Payne

  • dude thats a badass job!!

  • yer i was about to say a good warhammer technique for necrons, lol i still remember there name.

  • Dude That is A Badass Lookin Gun, It just "IM" not good at painting, If u lived close to me I would get u to help me.

  • do you happen to play warhammer? just wandering

  • yeah 2 years ago

  • hey umm wana be mates?

  • i dont like what i see, so ima leave stupid comment: stupid comment

  • Do you play 40K?

  • looks sick, ima do it

  • ye man drybrushing is pretty gud but ied prefer it on certai types of guns you know like i think it would look pretty crappy if you put it on say a P90 for example but ti suits things like M4s and M16s because there like a rugged kinda gun

  • lol nice

  • haha warhammer paint. you play warhammer or anything?

  • i stopped two years ago

  • pretty sick

  • Also, i notices some guns are much harder to dry brush and look good (the less detailed ones).

  • I had a clear crossman p50 (looks stupid) and painted it black. It looked obivously plastic. I used your video to dry brush it and it looks like very realistic metal. Is that supposed to happen?

  • yes it is

  • lol I was joking in last comment...

seriously I WILL try this BECAUSE it looks cool... well it looks better on that pistol than the m4..lol anyway nice vid XD

  • ooh i got black paint on my finger nails!

    eeeeeek!!!

(its not that bad to be gay XD)

    lol ice vid btw...

  • wow thats pretty cool, ill try it on my airsoft. thanks

  • the stock and hand gaurds are plastic on the real gun so in realialty they would not have silver scratches on them

  • that looks cool but to much pant

  • this is a great vid. I think im gonna try this on my pistol. BDR

  • Good video. Just want to help you with a bit of advice. Do some research as to what parts of a gun are actually metal. It'll look totally fake if the plastic parts have a worn metal look. Also, remember to use more paint on areas that would see frequent movement/make frequent contact with hand surfaces. Such as the part of the slide sitting below the frame and the magazine release button. Also, for body wear, sometimes less it more. Use less paint and fewer worn areas to enhance the effect.

  • Oh, and remember, raised areas will wear faster than flat areas.

  • Hmmmm..

Looks OK but I think it could be a bit better if there was a bit less paint used. Remember, not all parts on the M4 are metal.

I am not watching this video with sound yet, so please forgive me if you asked not to comment. :D

I could try this on my AKs reciver...
