the LED Christmas lights I got where Not bright. I did not like them. I felt sad. I think I'm going to take them off and put the regular ones. on. they got some work to do in technology to fix the bright problem
I like the regular lights because they burn energy and they are hot to the touch. The LED lights are too cool to the touch for me and they last too long. I actually enjoy replacing bulbs when they blowout they keep me in the Christmas spirit.
Also there r a lot of Americans who want to make a lot of money just watching others & doing nothing called themselves their union workers who likes to complain for stupid things and this is the people we need out of those good jobs now you tell me what happen to Chevy & Chrysler I bought an 04’ Dodge truck 0 miles & it has a lot of mechanical problems their warranty sucks it doesn’t cover gaskets & their customer service sucks so tell me what to think about my situation just go efficinetly.
Well I use to think like that but there r a lot of Americans they want to make more money with less physical work so I'm thinking the same way I’m an American but the American car makers r focusing in just burning "gasoline" Oil & international companies r ahead of time on this market so I need to be efficiently is possible, you tell me what to think & to make a decision.
I'm using LEDs in my entire house and my next project is install Solar Arrays or panels following with my next commuter car is Nissan Leaf this is the best investment for years to come
@TheBrassHole Check my other comments I'd left for you let's work together don't buy Chinese & now my question is where you r going to buy American in USA?
@serch142 The mpg is actually better (per same class), so that's excuse number one... The warranty is actually better (per same class), so that's excuse number two. "Make more money with less physical work", then why are Japanese cars assembled here if that were true?... See, it has nothing to do with the assembly plant, it has everything to do with the "parts houses". Put your New York Times down for a minute and do some actual research.
@TheBrassHole You said "why are Japanese cars assembled here if that were true" so why you ask me to Buy American. to me I'm buying American. We have to share technology and to share market trades to compete with other markets we r a simple puppet to all these business people and all they want is money fast efficient money.
@serch142 Read the whole reply before commenting please. A Ford F 150 and the Chevy Silverado both contain a little over 90 percent U.S. made parts.(Just 2 examples) It's about parts houses. Please again... research before you buy. I once owned a 1996 nissan sentra and it got 40 MPG! They are LESS efficient now. So you're "burning more oil" logic is out the window right there.
Unless you live somewhere hot then the heat that is emmitted from christmas lights (infact all lights) is not wasted even though it is normally counted as waste. The energy you save not making heat will be off set by the extra energy your central heating has to use to get the room to the temperature you have set.
It's called parallel circuit.

Surely it is more green to use and re-use an artificial tree every year then to keep cutting down real ones.

I think LED Christmas lights only save about a $1 per year in electricity, according to a box at Costco but those look terrible compared to Chris's.
