I have 800k across my characters on Defias Brotherhood, and I too have JC'ing and Enchanting, Gems sell quite fast and for a nice amount, for those wondering how they are supposed to get gold to give them a head start in a profession, go do the Lore Master Title, the gold from all the questing is very high.

@crazykid1995101 Thumps up. This is exactly what I did in wrath. Completed all quests in Northrend, crafted gems and rings/necks, which I DE'd. The last part isn't profitable in cata AFAIK (JC mats costs more than the DE mats), so the combination of the two proffesions isn't as good as it was in wrath, but you can still earn plenty of gold from them separately.

Kinda hard using these guides anymore, stuff people buy since 3.3 has changed a lot and this guide needs JCing to get the mats required for the enchants if you wanna gain a reliable source of profit. I mean its a few people that buy enchanting scrolls on the AH when they can buy the mats themselves which always go for cheap

Also, pick two gathering professions. all of the gathering professions are Skinning, Mining, and Herbalism. With them, you'd make the most money and can always drop them for crafting professions later

Found it difficult to get the scrolls bought.. usually everything i ever put up of value sales with in the first time up.. these took 4-5 times and still waiting for a few more to sell. I play horde on a medium pop server thats 10horde:1alliance. Is this just how it is for scrolls? Any tips for getting them to sell quicker? How often do you have to repost because of undercutts?

so there is a easy and cheap way to get the mats for entchanting ^^

just buy eternal earth, split it and buy sun crystal or bloodstone and then go to a JC and let him craft bloodstone band or sun rock ring ^^ on my server you even make profit out of it if you just sell the mats you get from entchanting the rings ^^ then just entchant some rolls > ah > GOLD ^^

nice guides but it seems to be you need to be already rich to make the profit, unless you farm the mats yourself of course. but farming mats to make 15k gold from sales would take you bloody ages or am i totally wrong here?
