I love him just for the individual he is so it does not matter that there is a name for it. My advise to anyone dating an aspie is just to be open, direct, and understand it will be more give than take. In return you will have a very honest and secure relationship. You will need to nuture at times. Setting up a routine format is very valuable for them. They are very logical. By following these guidelines both of you can have a very forfulling relationship. Best oif Luck : )
I like your videos and say thank you for trying to bring awareness to this condition. I am married to an aspie and what you say is very acurate about aspie men. I knew when I met him and he had many many self help books that I found it concerning. We dated 10 years before I married him. A week after marriage he told me he thought he had aspergers. I did not know what this was but when I looked it up the pieces all fell into place. It all made sense now. I thought it was quirks.
My partner has AS, and he often gets very obsessed with stuff I do. For ex; if im completing some work he will get very overbearing, to the point where he will almost be taking over. (This is him being helpful, and showing love) but when I ask politely for him to not be so intense, he believe I think he's trying to assert power over me or take over becoz he thinks he can do it better, which is false. Then it becomes a battle to convince eachother we are meaning no harm and love eachother. =]
Hi Arman, I enjoy your videos but I've noticed you always introduce yourself in the same way, as a "25 year old autistic". This is cool and everything but I kinda feel like there is so much more to you than that; I don't know why it bothers me but it kinda feels like too technical of an introduction. I know the intro may be beneficial to people who have not seen your other videos, but these are just my two cents.
@xoxcuddlecorexox Thank you. I know the intro can get boring, but you hit the nail in the coffin when you mentioned that it is beneficial to people who have never watched my videos before. For some, this may be the first video they have ever seen of me, especially considering that it is a response. But, thank you for the criticism. If you can think of something that could improve my intro please let me know. I agree that it is not the best intro.

@kandi391 That is very good advice. And, I don't think there is anything wrong with self-help books because they can make you a better person.
