No kidding - why would anyone care either way? I guess some folks just love controversy. To me anyone's gender or sexuality is irrelevant with only one exception - my spouse/partner. Anyone else is just a person and if as a friend they want to talk about those things, I'll listen but otherwise, it's not my business. Say, I just had this conversation with my brother but about politicians..... Truth still holds. Sorry you've run into haters - I guess they are everywhere. :(
